A new promo pic for season 5 (wearing the old suit).
Actor Mehcad Brooks who plays James Olsen will be leaving in the first half of Season 5 the door is open for him to return in the future.
He's been surplus to requirement since the second episode he was in, pointless in fact, lol, I won't blame the actor, because I don't think he's the issue, the character is, it's just lame, shoehorning him into things just to keep him relevant. I think he's a better actor than the character he was given.
Actress Chyler Leigh Who plays Alex Danvers will be directing a Ep in Season 5.

Love the new suit
4.21 Well, with a lot more loose ends to tie up and only 2 episodes left, some of them are tied off here, and more new ones formed. Lockwood finally realises he's been had. Supergirl gets to confront her double, who has magically got more powers. Alex finally breaks through her memory block. And Brainiac turns evil (something I had been kinda expecting since the end of the last series). Given he's only been in 3 or 4 episodes, Jon Cryer has really been lucky with how little he's had to do.

There's a good bit which sums up what I can only assume is the lack of a script editor: Haley bursts in on Alex and Supergirl in angry surprise, they tell her what they've discovered and Haley goes "fine, I totally believe your word without any evidence".
Elizabeth Tulloch is returning as Lois Lane for the Crisis On Infinite Earths Crossover.
Closer look at Supergirl’s new costume
4.22 Well, that's that. Most loose ends tied up, a few left dangling (or plain forgotten about - was Manny Black's beef about Fiona really just a convoluted way of narking Jonn?). Red Daughter gets exactly the same death as Live Wire, and Supergirl then absorbs her energy/new powers? just like Reign did with the other world-killers. For a show that pats itself on the back for real world references, its fallback on dodgy comic book science is risible.

At least Brainy reset himself (but I expect will lose control again in the future), and I was glad Dreamer didn't snuff it. Since Kara's identity was a theme of the series, it was inevitable Lena would learn it from Lex (right after she shot him dead. What self-control the man had!). Haley moving upwards into government was interesting.

The teases for S5/the future were all dreary. Fugit-eve and Leviathan, Jonn's blue identical twit, sorry twin, etc

S4 was more coherent than S3 and managed to be predictable and unpredictable. But I still preferred S3 Tongue
