Supergirl season 2 starts on CW on Monday 10th of October 8pm in the States, so in the UK will probably be s couple weeks or more later on Sky.
So I've got 4 months to crack the last 5 episodes? Phew! Tongue

Former Wonder Womam Lynda Carter will be playing the president of the United States and will appear in in multiple episodes, starting with the third installment of the second season.
So one thing I omitted to mention about ep 15 was the gormlessness that they released Max Lord the week before, and then in a plot about a worldwide internet thing, he's AWOL.

So, episode 16, and hey, it's Max Lord again. The ep takes a while to really kick in, and I personally rate Superman III, so I've no qualms with such a blatant homage (I guess a kooky but mad fight in a scrap yard would have been taking it too far). At least the resolution involved some degree of sacrifice, and also the idea that it wouldn't be easy to just go back to how things were before. It's amusing to notice the softening of Lord's character in the last few episodes, and also the weird friendship of Supergirl with Cat.

4 to go! Woo! Wink

Episode 17 feels a bit of a cheap recap to validate the threat to the DEO. Wasn't Jim Harper the bloke who became Guardian? The whole reset with wiping Harper's memory was a bit naff, and Lucy suddenly does a 180 to become a goodie (surely the best reason not to let her in on things was that her dad was an ultra-con blah blah. And another Max Lord-free episode, too! Not that he might have been able or willing to conduct a rescue attempt, but after the stuff with him fancying Alex, it would have seemed a logical direction. Nice ending, though, I guess, Siobhan's character was of little value otherwise until then.

3 to go! Smile
In the comics Jim Harper did become the Guardian, he was cloned a couple times.
The title of Ep 1 of season 2 will be called "The Adventures of Supergirl" and David Harewood is confirmed for season 2.
