Ep 7 "The Darkest Place" synopsis

While Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman.

The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) of her power. Mon-El (Chris Wood) considers a less than desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex (Chyler Leigh) struggles with a new reality.

Ep 5 "Crossover"

By far the weakest Ep of season 2, it's pretty clear they have no idea what to do with Jimmy Olsen character, again suffering from the same issues with season 1 with romance issues and the villains of the week were lame, What saved the Ep was the twist with the Villain aside from that a average Ep.

that ending left me confused because in smallville thought had died and in the comics they are called something different

^^^^In the comics it's always been different even in Smallville Lex father was in it up until season 7 in the comics both Lex's parents died when he was young. Thought out the years it's always been different.
