Ep 19 “The Last Gauntlet” & Ep 20 “Kara” Season 6 Series Final (Non-Spoiler)

Gonna be really honest and say it was disappointing and average. Most of the action takes places in Ep 19 and wraps up very early on in Ep 20 with the rest of the Ep serving up as a epilogue. But it’s the ending where it gets a bit dump and it involves Superman who isn’t in the Ep let’s just say it puts him at risk.
It was great to see the return of some old faces I just wish we could have seen cameos from other CW characters.
As disappointing as the finale was for me personal I am gonna miss the show a little, the actresses and actors were great in the roles and you could see the chemistry between all the cast and the love they have for each. It’s just a shame the writing for the show wasn’t better. Watching out for a very cheesy and cringey line between Alex fighting a Alien I literally rolled my eyes lol.

Nice development for Dreamer (pending whatever happens), and Brainy going "I'll always be there for you" is like in war films when people express undying faith and then get splatted. Still, the plot's picked up, so... Smile
6.11 Oh hell, I'm getting slower. The main plot was a bit cat & mouse (what?) but the subplot with Lena discovering her CONVENIENT magic roots was diverting.

6.12 That went easier, I guess. Much amusement as Kelly has to tell the heroes how useless they are. Rankin the evil photographer council lady develops great wish powers which she doesn't really use. A bloke from Arrow drops in and doesn't actually do all that much. And Jonn explains that he chose to appear black, without explaining why ALL the other Martians do it too (OK, he might have told his Dad... and Mgan might have made the same choice (what happened to her anyway?) but his brother?)
Anyway, something of a stopgap episode, thankfully.
6.13 Courage, how needed that is. Takes a long time for not a lot to happen, but I do find it amusing that some regulars get weeks off (Dreamer is largely absent this time). I know that given covid, it's probably a small miracle that as many cast are included as are. Nyxly's brother (or father) being called Bryxly was a LOL moment.
6.14 Humanity & how to obtain it. Amusing sub-plots with William the hapless journo, and a fire-breathing young girl.
6.15 Oh joy, the little girl is an ongoing sub-plot; handled badly by the writers. Perhaps the regulars are just thick? Dreamer would have dealt with it in about 20 seconds flat.
As for the main ongoing plot, a series of "gauntlets" induce repetition and therefore become demoralising when our heroes prove repeatedly incapable.
