PC gone too far!

Probably not the first to say it’s pc gone mad but it definately isn’t political correctness. Supergirl has worn trousers in the comics & below in the injustice video games

I believe the reason it was changed is due to supergirl filmed in Vancouver and it gets very cold
^^^ exactly what just said Rolleyes

Not really she’s had that in the comics and injustice games plus there was a reason why they changed the suit which was nothing to do it with it PC.

I don’t care about the comics Melissa Benoit looked better in a short skirt
As it’s already been explained it was changed due to comfort the actors it’s one of the reasons why The Flash has changed so much over seasons from leather to now a mesh spandex. With Supergirl as Rammy stated it was partly due to the cold weather in Canada if you behind the scenes when she wasn’t filming she was always wearing a long winter jacket between takes. Also when there doing scenes of flying she’s wearing a wire harness which was causing her pain on hips and her groin so the costume was changed and other stuff happened with the previous suit and more complex stunt, along with cape which was also causing problems with stunt work so even that is shorter and lighter.
It’s all very well we commenting on how she should but by changing costumes does it change or effect her acting at the end day no it doesn’t. The actors have wear the costumes for hours upon end which isn’t easy for them. If they feel they need a costume change to make them more comfortable then there entitled to do so it’s them having wear it not us. I really wish would stop using PC brigade comments before fully knowing the facts first.
Dont get your knickers in a twist pal. I like her legs am a member of a babesite its not entirely inappropriate is it! To be fair I was not aware this costume change was consistent with the character change in the comics but fuck it its still PC driven I like her ass out!
I haven’t got my knickers in a twist I was just explaining why the costume no need for the sarcastic comment.
Supergirl has been renewed for Season 6.
Fingers crossed they rip off Superman IV next time then.

I appreciate I'm the only one who wants that, though Sad
5.6 Oh thank goodness, a flashback episode. Not just that, but one that suddenly advances the plot, as we learn the Shadow's not-so-secret identity (in a series where the majority of characters have a secret identity now) and a nudge more for Lena's super-masterplan. That Lena and Kara suddenly learn the name Leviathan within minutes feels like someone not knowing what subtlety is.
I'm surprised to be reminded Lena wasn't in series 1 (search me if that's a retcon or not), but I'm highly amused by the flashback to Lex's death. Yeah, did Lena not try burying her brother? She believed him dead, but we the viewers saw him apparently revived... how is that supposed to fit? "Ooh I thought about burying my brother, but nah, too good for him"
The Synopses for Ep 11 titled “Back From The Future Part 1” Season 5

As Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) tries to thwart a Toyman copycat, Winn Schott (guest star Jeremy Jordan) returns from the future. David Harewood aka J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter will be directing this Ep, pretty the title is a nod to Back To The Future.
