Supergirl goes on a break and will be in Jan 2016.

Ep 9 "Blood Bonds"

With Astra in captivity at the DEO, her husband, Non (Chris Vance), captures Hank, leading to a tense standoff between the two sides. Also, Kara continues to refute Cat’s allegations that she is Supergirl. Supergirl will return on the 4th of Jan 2016 in the states and my guess is on the 7th of Jan on Sky.

Really enjoyed Ep 8 Hostile Takeover the mid season finale for me the best Ep of the season for far loved the fight scenes between Supergirl and her Aunt Astra they reminded me of the fight scenes Superman and Zod in Man of Steel. My minor complaints about the Ep was again the love triangle plot and at the end why it took Supergirl so long to get to Maxwell Lord apart from that a very strong mid season finale plus really liking Cat Grant character.

Bizzaro is coming to the show but no news on which version as of yet.

Kara does her best to support Winn when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat offers Lucy a job at CatCo and Alex asks Hank to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord’s plans.

I'm just on to ep 7 One thing I do find a bit lame is that almost all the main characters have parent issues of some sort.
