And that's the penultimate episode, with its helpful returns for Cat and the President, convenient excuse to avoid David Harewood running around twice, groovy ticking clock drama, and shock ending. And again, Mon-El blows a good chance of drama by just letting Kara stay on the ship.

It wasn't too bad, although the mini-triumph of the (expected) Martian return was wasted because Rhea just upped the stakes and Kara went nuclear. I thought Mon-El's exit was a bit sloppy - why not just send him to Flash's Earth, which presumably would be safe?
And that cliffhanger ending is so poor: "wow ANOTHER escapee from the dying Krypton YAWN".
