Hoby City some time last week. BBC1 possibly Tues 10/7, 8-9pm. The closing scene had a gay male doctor kissing his boyfriend full on the lips and hugging for far longer than necessary to convey the plot point, shown in relative close up and in the background to other characters talking.

What gets me is that two female presenters are not allowed to get over friendly late at night on a dedicated sex channel because of a "high risk of causing serious or widespread offence against generally accepted standards".

Quote:Ooh la la. This racy French costme drama opens with a sex scene that would make even a veteran of all three editions of the Fifty Shades series blush. Set in a brothel at the end of the 19th century, the enegetic bouts of rumpy pumpy are set against a storyline...

Maison Close, Sky Arts1, 10pm Sunday.

Its OK, its a costume drama.

Taking bets on exactly which sex act features in the opening.
Guy waving his 13 inch cock around on SKY 136 now on World's Greatest Body Parts, uncensored.

He's laughing and talking about his big dick and how he might want to do porn.

Funniest thing about that clip is how she covers up at the end, as though she's just realised she's naked Rolleyes

Soryry, bit of a let down.
now on sky arts 1, Nudes: Antony Gormleys One & Another, only 3 minutes into the show as i write this and already seen full frontal nudity (both male and female) at 1:03 pm
The Night Watch on SKY 102 now with brief full frontal and prolonged toplessness.

Adult channels can't show toplessness until ten, and no full frontal Rolleyes

In case it did not leap out, Sky channel 102 is BBC2, a channel available on every viewing platform without any access restrictions. "The Night Watch" was broadcast from 9-10pm.

My TV guide says "Sarah Walter's novel traces the relationships of a group of characters from the austerity and exhaustion of the early postwar years back to ... the Blitz. ... the war defined her personality and made peacetime seems empty, devoid, loveless and devoid of meaning. ..."

So it's a historical piece (that makes shagging and nudity OK) depicting empty loveless relationships (can only be dramatized by depicting how empty and joyless the shagging actually was).

I shouldn't comment as I didn't get to see it, I don't get to see, ahem, "relationship drama" that early in the evening as the crumblies are usually still up. Spartacus, Rome, The Bridge, etc are all off limits and strangely the BBC doesnt repeat the good stuff later.
Yes whether we like it or not unfortunately a different set of rules is applied to channels that are not classed as teleshopping channels. I must admit I switched over to the programme and in one scene on the nightwatch here we had 2 blokes jacking off furiously whilst sharing a bunk bed, when finished the one on the top bunk launched his love piss in the direction of the other blokes face, yes this is the BBC Big Laugh

This was aired just after the 9PM watershed and before 10, so whilst we had this type of action being played out on BBC2 the babes meanwhile on the Adult Channels weren't even allowed to get their tits out. If ofcom wants to play the kids could be watching card then look no further that the BBC. How Ironic that Ed Richards applied for the top job at the BBC knowing that this type of programme was being shown.

Only in the UK would you have such a bizarre set of rules in place Cool
