I actually got to watch most of this for once. Rock looked dead n gone at one point so it's astonishing he rallied and won.

Michael van Gerwen saw off a resolute Mensur Suljovic 4-2 in a high quality match to reach the last sixteen. Michael Smith had to fight hard to see off Martin Schindler in a deciding set.
Meanwhile Gary Anderson slumped to a 4-1 defeat against Chris Dobey.

MVG laid up because he thought his opponent wouldn't hot 161 but he did to get it back to 3-2 before MVG won the 6th set

Clayton beat Rock; Rob Cross beat aged perennial Mervyn King.

Former World Champion Gerwyn Price is shockingly out losing to Gabriel Clemens 5-1 , mind you Clemens did play really well in that game.

Also if you haven't seen it watch the game from the 4th set Price come out from the break wearing headphones i have never seen anything like it before in darts.
