Saw some of Barney-Taylor as it was on Sky Sports Mix. Barney didn't seem the better player, but his exultation at landing Shanghai to take a 3-1 lead was all too real. Plus he's more likeable anyway

Watched the Chisnell V Anderson match, felt Chizzy let himself down on the big time shots, if he had got them he could have won...saying that Anderson was not at full speed and feel he has another gear to call upon.

van Gerwen set a new World Championship 3 dart average record of 114.05 in an unbelievable performance.

Since most of the coverage I've seen during the year was about how brilliant MvG was, it's going to be an anti-climax if he loses tonight.

Anderson averaged around the 105 mark and still got steamrolled from 2-1 up to lose 7-3. The Dutchman was just remorseless.

Next stop, the BDO World Championship, this coming Saturday. And no doubt a barage of darts 'fans' that will slate the quality of the players and of the darts on offer. It's sad that so many have been brainwashed by Barry Hearn into believing you HAVE TO choose a side; you can't be fans of ALL darts. Pathetic. Yes, the BDO is a step down, but, what Hearn always forgets - EVERY player that has ever won the PDC title has come from the BDO. It's a far better breeding ground for talent than the PDC.

Yeah and why has every person who won BDO moved on to PDC because they have to make a decent living

BDO did it to themselves basically it was one man call him the vince mcmahon of darts thought he knew better. if the PDC hadnt have happened the game would be dead

yeah hearn can be a cunt but he has a track record and has changed British boxing, Darts and now seems to be going the right way with the snooker and he always seems to take the players with him
