Barney came through smoothly, and will meet Littler tomorrow!
Michael Smith has been demolished 4-0 by Chris Dobey and seen his title defence ended.

MVG powered past Stephen Bunting 4-0.
we likely to see a Barney V MVG Final (If it's possible) ?
This afternoon Rob Cross trounced Jonny Clayton 4-0 to set up a clash with Chris Dobey.

Dave Chisnall overcame Daryl Gurney in a 6 set struggle to win 4-2 while Scott Williams beat Damon Heta 4-1 to continue his run.
Luke Littler is through to the last eight after beating his idol Raymond van Barneveld 4-1.
He will next face Brendan Dolan who overcame Gary Anderson in a deciding set classic.
Luke Humphries has won an epic match against Joe Cullen in a deciding tiebreak leg in the final set.
Humphries recovered from 0-2 down to level at 2-2. Cullen regained the lead at 3-2 but back came Humphries to level once more.
Final set and Cullen races into a 2-0 lead but misses match darts and it goes 2-2.
Missed chances galore as it goes to 5-5.
Humphries eventually scrambled over the line to set up a clash with Dave Chisnall.
Still seems up for grabs at this stage. Could it even be Chizzy's year?!?
Dave Chisnall has gone somewhat under the radar in the tournament so far which is possibly no bad thing.
He has beaten some good players and dealt with pressure situations well up to now.
So you never know Wink.
Luke Littler is through to the semi finals after thrashing Brendan Dolan 5-1.

He will next face former champion Rob Cross who staged the most astonishing recovery from 0-4 down to beat Chris Dobey 5-4.

What were the odds on Littler at the start of the tournament?? Slashed now obviously, but some will be getting mighty nervous of a big pay day (not just Littler himself) around the corner! I reckon the price on him getting even this far were more than favourable!

I liked the presser one of the other players gave, when he handed out a much needed warning to the media to leave this boy alone (looks older than 16 btw), and not destroy him as they have done the last up and coming youngster. Fat chance of course of them taking any heed!
