Andy Fordham has died at the age of 59 , of organ failure , sad and shocked by it but is it shocking when you consider his long running health problems.

Anyway RIP Andy.
He did his best to lose a fair bit of weight in recent years just feel everything else just caught up with him a real shame as he still did the odd exhibition night

Whilst skysports did a nice tribute before the matchplay games began earlier
Wright wins his 1st World Matchplay Title by defeating Van Den Bergh 18-9.

It was good to see Van Den Bergh reach the final again despite losing because everyone was doubting him after winning it last year same with Peter to really but the only difference is he comes out with so much crap that he is going to win everything but at least he won this one.
Saw that Wright beat MvG in a tough semi, whilst vdB came through against some herbert, so Wright probably the worthier winner overall.
Sad news as Kyle Anderson has died at the age of 33 , it has not been confirmed what he died of yet i know he had Covid in 2020 and Diabetes pretty badly.

RIP Kyle Anderson.
On a lighter note it is great to see Darts has it's own page in the other sports section.

Thanks Mods.
