Yeah he done it again he wasn't at his best in my opinion not just in this tournament but all year round but he is 3 Time World Champion and won the other big majors Premier League and World Grand Prix so that shows just how good he is even when he is not at his best but if the other players took there chances and Anderson played well i don't think MVG would of been World Champion.
Deta Hedman has hed-ded out as well.
Fallon Sherrock produced a terrific performance in beating Corrine Hammond 2-0.
On such form she could be a contender again for sure.
Seems odd to see Adams & O'Shea as pundits (of a sort). Is Bobby George too ill/rich/abroad? I saw O'Shea's name in the draw... it's odd seeing some names (eg Ross Montgomery) who seem to be perennials but never enough to do well.

What Colin Mason is supposed to contribute, I do not know. I thought he was more PDC.

EDIT - Chris Mason. Thinking of Ross Montgomery led me to Colin Monk, and the many BDO names of yore.
Durrant through to round two with a simple 3-0 win over Mark McGrath.

How quick a thrower is Chris Landman btw?
It's like watching Formula 1 darts Surprisedlaugh.
The Tony Drago of darts Big Grin.
Another World Championship another failure from those perennial losers Ross Montgomery and Gary Robson. Playing on front of 17 people - they can play. Give them an actual audience - they wilt like an old man's bell end in a swimming pool.

Can't see anyone beyond Durrant or Mitchell winning. Easily the best two players in it.

Sounds like Durrant would finally head off to the PDC if he wins his third straight title.
Yeah, I saw that Montgomery has made at least the 1st round for the last 11 years, but no-one would expect him to stand a serious chance.
Number one seed and last years runner up Mark McGeeney beaten 4-0 by a fine Conan Whitehead performance.
