It will still be taking place at Ally Pally as far as I know hopefully with fans.
is MVG still the man to beat at the Ally Pally?
MVG will always be the man to beat but he is clearly not at his best despite winning the last major the players championship.

My tip to win the World Championship is Gerwyn Price.
Peter Wright dressed as The Grinch yes you heard that right kicked off his defence in style with a 3-1 win over Steve West.

If you haven't seen Peter Wright entrance as The Grinch you need to watch it it's hilarious probably the best thing he's ever done , I suppose being it's been a crap year Peter Wright tried to make the most out of it being the defending champion plus he didn't get a proper entrance like everyone he was just on the stage straight away not doing that long walk to the stage like they normally do so knowing Peter Wright he had to do something.
Rob Cross and Adrian Lewis both lost in Round 2.
Feel both Gary Anderson and Scott Waites have to be at their best to get into tound three and with Lewis & Cross out it must sliphtly opens up the draw for either Price & MVG
Scott Waites had his chances against Nathan Aspinall but ultimately lost 3-2 after initially leading 2-0.
Gary Anderson got safely through and faces Mensur Suljovic next.
witrh Waites out it opns it up & i reckon MVG or Price are going to make the final

A complete and utter choke by Waites sadly. Missing four match darts, including three in hand at D10. This after checking out that incredible 125 outshot in the leg before.

Proper gutted that he went out.
The defending World Champion Peter Wright is out he loses 4-3 against Gabriel Clemens.
