Quite shocking this is Raymond Van Barneveld not even a year after his retirement has announced his return to darts.

I mean he is not good enough any more that's why i am surprised by this but he was pretty pissed off after his 1st round defeat against Darin Young at the Worlds maybe he wants to put that right and go out on a high that's if of course he wins his tour card in 2021.
Maybe he's got the idea off Stephen Hendry? Wink
Quite shockingly Dirk van Duijvenbode who is ranked outside the top 70 and rarely is on TV has reached the World Grand Prix final he faces Gerwyn Price.
Gerwyn Price wins his 1st World Grand Prix beating Dirk van Duijvenbode 5-2 , so darts doesn't have it's fairytale ending.
Congratulations glen durrant
Indeed Lenny.

In a final that i believe no one would have predicted Glen Durrant has won his first PDC title and first Premier League defeating Nathan Aspinall 11-8 , it was a match between two challengers from last year and two players making their debut in the Premier League the first time that has happened since the tournament first started in 2005.

Glen Durrant has also become only fifth man to win a World Title and a Premier League title joining MVG,RVB,Taylor and Anderson , i wasn't sure how Durrant would do in the PDC but boy has he exsucceded all expectations but i did believe he would do well in the PDC the first time i have felt that way about a player since Barneveld i mean he wasn't a one off fluke World Champion like most in the BDO the guy won it three years in a row first time that was archived since Bristow.
Fallon Sherrock did not qualify for the PDC Worlds thing, but Lisa Ashton and Deta Hedman did.
Had a feeling that would happen Doddle.

Sherrock has properly un done all the hard work she done last year but hopefully she will be back next year.

Good to see Hedman qualify tho , she hasn't played in a Men's event for ages and i didn't think she would get there but at the age of 60 she is still going strong.
European Championship on ITV4 today.
