So am I right in thinking that this will not take the same route as Superman Returns did as I just found that movie a massive disappointment and just a rip off the first original Christopher Reeve's movie which was far superior. I can only hope that this one is a far more fitting movie for the man of steel
I thought Superman Returns was alright it way better then Superman 3 and dear i say Superman 4. The problem with the film was it was trying to be too much like the Christopher Reeves one's, they shouldn't have put Lois with another bloke (even tho in the Superman comics reboot she is) as it show any chemistry between the two actors and they shouldn't have put the kid in it aside from that it did have it moments. The problem with Superman is that if you make it too like Chris Reeve's films people don't like it on the other hand if you a lot different i.e how Smallville was a lot of die Superman fans never liked it because it so different from the Superman they knew and grow up with. Personally i loved Smallville as the take on Superman was very different and made him look more human and less perfect and towards the end of its run it got a lot darker giving it some grit. I have no doubt that special effects are gonna be great its just how the storyline might possible. If they can us a strong story then its half way there in being film we'll all love, am looking forward to it just hope it lives up to the hype. I probably would have used another bad guy like Brainiac, Doomsday or even Darkseid and then left Zod till a later film, who knows maybe they'll use them for future films fingers crossed.

Yes I must admit I was a massive fan of the Christpher Reeve's movie's and yes Superman Returns did pretty much try to copy it that's why I say it was a blatant rip off the first movie, I also didn't think that Brandon Routh was suited to the part neither and I had the same opinion on Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, I just found her character to be smug and somebody I couldn't really care less for aswell as that bloody annoying kid in the movie who I was willing that his damn keyboard would fall apart, now don't get me wrong both actors were very talented in their respective fields but I just didn't think they gave the type of performance that justified such a global icon. Also I thought the script was terrible. On the subject of spin offs I really liked The New Adventures of Superman and avidly tuned into it every Saturday night when it was on the BBC, Smallville well it's just not my cup of tea to be honest, I'm used to seeing the man of steel in all his glory saving the world and taking on the evil Lex Luther. I just hope that this new film is original and offers us something that does the legacy of Christpher Reeve's justice
Tom Savini, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Joseph Gordon-Levit have all been added to the already impressive cast list for Django Unchained.
Sadly its being reported the brilliant Michael Kenneth Williams has had to pull out.
Here's the two front covers of Empire Magazine featuring Batman and Bane:
Some Batman Dark Knight Rises News Christopher Nolan has said its set 8 years after the second film so his a older Bruce Wayne and his not in a good state. Costume designer Lindy Hemming, who revealed the reason for Bane's mask. "He was injured early in his story. he's suffering from pain and needs gas to survive. He can't survive the pain without the mask. The pipes from the mask go back along his jawline and feed into the thing at his back, where there are two cannisters." Also Bane Fighting style will be very brutal, really looking forward to this film
