Some bits of movie news that leave me asking the question why??
The Batman v Superman movie, which I know will be fantastic, is reportedly going to cover the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents...yet again. Do they really need to keep going over this territory? zzzzzz.
There is also talk of an Amazing Spiderman movie spin-off revolving around the adventures of none other than Aunt May WTF Gasp in excitement as Aunt May does the washing, be amazed as she makes Peter Parker a pastrami on rye to go!
The new Fantastic 4 reboot is set for release on August 6th 2015. Already I'm getting alarm bells with this Fox made production. Apparently Dr Doom (couldn't they come up with a different villain for a change) is no longer going to be called Victor Von Doom. Instead he will be an anti-social programmer called Victor Domashev who's blog site name is Doom.
As a kid two of my favourite tv cartoons were the Fantastic 4 and Spiderman. Funny as both of them have not been brilliant in their big movie adaptations. If only Marvel would get the franchises back...They know how to create a great storyline that appeals to all ages, while underpinning it with a more adult sense of humour that doesn't take the piss.
