Production delayed on Bond 24 because of script rewrites.
Dracula Untold is due for release in October. It seems to borrow from the historical real life Vlad the Impaler as well as the fictional Dracula and appears to be an origin storyline on how he goes from being a hero of the people to turning to the darkside...oops wrong movie!Wink
Looks interesting.
Apparently the new Transformers movie is being slammed by critics as it is 3 hours of non-stop action, big explosions followed by even bigger explosions. They universally report that there is only slightly more depth to the central human characters than in the previous 3 films. Too much action revolving around big robots too.
Weirdly it is proving very popular among normal, unpretentious human beings who by and large make up the paying cinema audience. To back that up it broke the 2014 record for opening weekend receipts in the USA this weekend. A fine example of; the masses speak Smile
The problem with Transformers is it really needs some fresh blood i haven't seen the film yet and still will but it looks like its just the same film as the previous lot, 22 Jump Street got away with it because it doesn't take it self serious and the new jokes were actually fun. I would love to see a Transformers either set in the past in civil war or possibly in the future like with the animated movie. Its a shame they didn't use more well known Transformers rather then make up new ones, i think the next film really needs a change of direction.

I think there is some fresh blood in transformers age of extinction. it's pretty much an all new human cast compared to the 1st 3 live action transformer films and pretty much all the transformers in it are new apart from optimus prime and bumblebee and have heard of all of them from the transformer comic books and the various animated series. don't like that they have renamed all the dinobots apart from grimlock though

agree though about having a transformers film set in the future though, perhaps set entirely on cybertron
There quite clearly isn't any fresh blood it as the most common thing that people have said is that it feels like the same film the previous ones, giving it just new human cast a fresh coat if you will doesn't make it fresh and thats the problem with most sequel were its just a rehash of previous films and hence why Hollywood is running out of ideas and that why i said what would have been interesting would be a prequel showing us the civil war between the Autobots and the Decepticons and how it all started in the first place. When i watch a sequel to film yeah want it to feel the same in way but you want new elements to the sequel looks at Star Wars: The New Hope to Emipire Strikes Back a perfect example of how to do a sequel but yet keeping the same essence of the previous film Smile.
I can only go off the TV spots and trailers I've seen but it just looks like another 3 hour Bay homage to pyrotechnics and migraine inducing robot fights so tightly shot you can't tell whats going on. The fact that Bay (or the script writers) have seen fit to rename the Dinobots doesn't fill me with hope either.

But hey take my comments with a pinch of salt, I've not seen the film from start to finish and I'm a bit weird because my favorite one so far was the last one lol Big Grin

critics never like summer blockbuster films like this, yet it is films like this help fund films that are released in and around Oscar, bafta award season.

if were not for films like this then Hollywood would have gone bankrupt when the credit crunch hit in 2008 and the start of the recession in 2010.

I was watching a video clip on bbc's facebook page where mark kemode was saying that he tries to go into any film that he is reviewing with an open mind and wanting the film the best it can be.

I will be watching monsters before watching the new Godzilla has both films are done by the same chap, kemode has stated that in both films the creatures are treated sympathetically by the director.

anyone seen mrs browns boys d'movie? from what I have read about it is not as funny as the tv series, I hope that is not the case has I want to watch it.
