"Versus Zoom"

Firstly the Ep was very dark even by this shows standards right from th start were given dark issues. Finally the big reveal the truth about Zoom aka Jay Garrick or is it lol. We're given a origin story behind Zoom and it's not too different from another characters origin just a different path.
The Supergiro crossover is kind of explained but not completely there is a reason why lol.
Zoom is totally twisted and evil and off his head not surprising when you learn of true origin and you kinda feel sorry for him in a way. The reason as to why there was two Jay Garricks one of course killed it's totally explained and makes sense as for the ending its gonna interesting as to what Barry does next.
What I will say about the show and even with the first season you have to watch each of ep's very carful as even small little stuff that happens in each Ep which seem trivial, pointless or don't add to the story actually play a part in shaping the season of it as will being given tiny clues or puzzle pieces and as the season goes on the puzzle pieces fall into place Flash does this along with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. The theroy I had about Zoom was actually right Smile.
Question is who is the man in the mask?

looking forward to seeing this when it's on sky1 next Tuesday. agree you have to watch each episode carefully as there is seemingly trivial pointless stuff that actually helps in shaping the season and the puzzle falls into place
Watch out for two Easter eggs in Ep 18 "Versus Flash", the first one is involving the tachyon test something happens for a brief second you hear a very familiar theme, the second involves the origin of Zoom and how he gets his powers it's taken from a very famous Flash story/graphic novel and a animated movie.
Forgot to say in "Versus Zoom" there's a Star Wars reference lol.
There's been some up roar across the social media regarding Ep 18 "Versus Flash" comic writer Mark Waid who used to write The Flash comics during the Wally West era of The Flash he wasn't happy that they made Jay Garrick into a bad Flash where as in the comics he wasn't plus his origin story revealing another shock twist. Waid even went as far as saying he wouldn't watch the show any more and it ruining the 75 year legacy of The Flash.
Executive Producer Greg Berlanti replied back by saying we love the character Jay Garrick from the comics and we would never make him into a bad guy, Mark Waid since then has apologised several times for his remarks. Here's my views on the matter:

Am a massive fan of The Flash comics more with the Wally West and it's great seeing things from the comics being lifted and bought to life on the small screen but what you got to realise is that some things from comics are gonna be changed for The Reverse Flash storyline is exactly the same but they added in the Harrison Wells element which he never existed in the comics along with Joe West now as long as you don't piss all over The Flash legacy and are respectful over it then you can make changes.
Mark Waid as much as I loved his work on The Flash should have waited till the end of season 2 to see how the storyline plays out before passing judgement,as there's still a few eps left of season 2 with lots to play for and many twists and plots still to be revealed. I know he was only upset because of his love and work on the flash.
Actor Teddy Sears posted this pic a few weeks ago:
arrow, supergirl, the flash are adapted version of the comics, they have rough kept the main character's origin story the same. This is not like the walking dead where they have taken the comic and put it on tv with a few changes here or there. Bones, Rizzoli and Isles have taken the main character or characters and created their world different to the books.

It is good that they find room to add stuff from the comics or have eps influenced by the comics.
The Supergirl series out of the three shows where the origin is different depending on which version of the comic you read. The Flash and Arrow origins are pretty much identical to the comics even right down to when they got reboot in the DC 52.
