The description for the season 5 premiere “Nora”

After an unexpected guest from the future, Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy), appears at their home, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton,) must figure out how to get her back to the future without disrupting the timeline…even more than she already has. Team Flash must work together to send Nora back, while simultaneously fighting off another villainous meta.

The crossover finally gets a name Elseworlds taken from the set of graphic novels by DC Comics about alternate realities and timelines.

Production is under way on the 100th Ep.

Looks like we’re getting a big character from the comics The Monitor will be making appearance in the crossover. In the comics he was a big part of storyline “Crisis On Infinite Earths” the same storyline where Barry Allen died could this linked to the future newspaper from 2024 where The Flash disappears. LaMonica Garrett has been cast as The Monitor.

The Description for Ep 2 “Blocked” Season 5

As Barry (Grant Gustin) helps his daughter, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), become a better speedster, he and Team Flash also track down a meta stealing high-tech weapons, only to cross paths with a new foe named Cicada (Chris Klein), who is hunting the very same meta with nefarious intent.

The Flash will be back on Sky 1 with season 5 on the 18th of October
