There was a deleated scene cut from the pilot which would have featured Barry looking into man that could talk to fish which would have been Aquaman with him getting his own solo film I pretty much doubt he'll be appearing again on the small screen the last he did was in Smallville. The deleated scene can be seen on The Flash season 1 blu ray and dvd boxset.
