How can bang be still going as the licences have gone. Hopefully it can till someone else takes over and take bang back to its former glory.

Do think some girls will leave

The bang management are largely to blame as they kept on incredibly breaking the rules and if you do that then ofcom will take the licences.

Hopefully the channels will be reborn, if not the girls will be on other channels

Not sure they were in decline. On screen they were doing well but clearly having challenges behind the scenes. However I am with you on how come the pad is still transmitting ain't they all the same company.
Here's the report from the BBC website:

Quote:Adult TV channels become first to lose licences Ofcom said more than 60 breaches had been recorded in the past 18 months.

Four channels broadcasting adult content have become the first to have their licences revoked by regulator Ofcom for not being "fit and proper".

Tease Me, Tease Me TV and Tease Me 2 and 3 all promoted adult chat which was broadcast free to air.

Ofcom said the channels repeatedly breached rules which protect children from inappropriate material and viewers from harmful and offensive content.

More than 60 rule breaches had been recorded in the past 18 months.

"We simply will not tolerate serious and repeated breaches of the Code and have therefore decided to revoke these licences," said Ofcom's director of standards, Chris Banatvala.

"Audiences should be assured that we will continue to take action to stop broadcasters breaching the rules in this area."

The channels - owned by Bang Channels Limited and Bang Media Limited - featured female presenters who encouraged viewers to contact them via premium rate telephone numbers.

But according to broadcasting rules, channels are not permitted to promote adult chat services during the daytime and the material must be suitable for a pre-watershed audience.

Ofcom added that the licence holders had transmitted content over a sustained period of time that was too sexually explicit for the time of day or for unencrypted broadcast.

It noted some of the material broadcast was so strong it would be considered equivalent to hardcore material which is not permitted on British TV either free-to-air or under encryption.

In July 2010 Ofcom fined the two companies £157,250 for serious breaches of the Broadcasting Code and other licence conditions.

The regulator said it now plans to meet all licensees that broadcast adult content to ensure they are "quite clear how seriously Ofcom takes its duties in relation to the protection of television audiences and in particular children".
so will bangbabes not broadcast anymore?
"It noted some of the material broadcast was so strong it would be considered equivalent to hardcore material which is not permitted on British TV either free-to-air or under encryption."

REALLY??????

So having a camera inside of a woman's vagina as a man ejaculates inside of her on a non adult channel is OK and not hardcore?????

REALLY????? That sounds like X rated content to me!

Seeing anuses and penises and vaginas on Sexcetera, Sexarama and Eurotrash on NON adult channels in not considered hardcore or more explicit??????

That makes complete sense RolleyesRolleyesRolleyes

It's all about context. They mention a few times in the report about the content being solely for sexual stimulation. The kind of shows you describe show it in either an educational way or as part of a magazine show, not just there for the sake of it.
have these ofcom fools ever seen hardcore porn? because bangbabes never came even close to HARDCORE!...wish they did lol

what planet are these people on....they have no idea what they are talking about!!!
It is a total freakin disgrace.Every evening after the pad has finished, and before Bang Babes begins transmitting they play the video of how to block the channels, using your remote. We are all adults and know what happens on these channels. If you are offended by young ladies helping men out over the phone, there is a simple solution.....DONT WATCH.
I CHOOSE TO WATCH and resent Ofcon telling me what I can and cannot watch,in the privacy of my own home.
It is ok to watch Sharon Stone uncross her legs on a commercial channel, but I cannot see a girl do it on a sex-line channel? The world has gone mad!
yet in soaps they show violence, drug abuse, rape, sex from 7pm to 8pm daily and ofcom does nothing
