Gaz

The services appearing on Sky channels 902 and 915 are Tease Me TV2 (as opposed to Tease Me 2) and Climax, owned by and licensed to Playboy TV and independent of Bang Media / Bang Channels Ltd.

There you go mate.

Jay

I was referring to the fact it may be illegal for them to still be broadcasting even if it's on another channel with different licensee's
Any guesses as to what the 'new package' is going to be called?
(If they go with MinkyWorld I'll be so happy)Smile

EDIT - assuming, of course, that they DO come back.... *strokes chin, looks sagely into middle distance*

I can't understand why just 912 and 959 were removed but not channel 902?

Its a fair question, never mind who owns the channels.

Was the content on 902 so different from 912 and 959?

If the content was the same, or just the same strength, how can Ofcom justify taking action against one but not the other? Have they been caught out with blatant victimisation?
I'm confused, the channels are still being broadcast aren't they?
I don't think the issue was difference in content clearly the core content is the same.it is an issue of the licence holder.902 is licenced by playboy the other two by bang media. The revocation notice was issued against the licence holder in this case bang media.

On 902 they are merely a content provider.Hence the extra safe shows recently.

Yes they have. But only by the investigative team of forum members, who they will generally ignorebladewave - unless this evidence is then fired back at them...Important

The content is determined by the licence holder and any contraventions are levied against the licence holder.

As he is a media solicitor and I am a lowly commercial solicitor I shall bow down to his superior knowledge.

Tempted as I am to call your colleague a rude name I will refrain.

The management of Bang have been labelled "not fit and proper persons". Its not the same as liquidating a company and resurrecting with a different registration, its closer to being banned from being a company director. But worse - Ofcam can apply that label to anyone they think was a controlling mind. They aren't limited to the owners or directors. If they want they can say any producers are also unfit. The camera operators and models might be OK.

Much as I like Bang Im not overly bothered about loosing it. Other operators will be along soon.

No, what I want is regime change. A world where channels dont have to depend on the regulator turning a blind eye. Where the rules - the real rules - dont change overnight. Where a quick flash when a model moves or a blanket slips is seen as something totally different from sustained genital close ups. Where cert 18 material available on DVDs openly sold in High Street shops during the day can be seen on TV at night.
Well now there's another casualty - Toni has posted in her thread that all her shifts over the weekend were cancelled and she's effectively been told she's no longer wanted.

It's interesting that she has broken ranks from the company line and says that the girls were "lied to" as well as us about it being a "technical problem" and a number of them have also had their shifts axed whilst others have kept theirs.

So it seems they are going to keep a core of the favoured few and release the others, which many on the forum have predicted.

Since the trouble started we've seen almost a "normal" number of appearances from Donna, Dionne, Lilly, Rochelle and Zarwood (ie they've been on 3/4/5 times-ish in the past week and a half); Tori, Lucy S and Annie I think have been on twice, Adele & Cathy only once (these are only approximates, I'm sure somebody will put me right if I've cocked up or forgotten anybody but I'm definite that Ms Taylor has only been on once!)).

So, Emily has gone, Toni has gone....who next?
