One thing that has just occured to me is what did they broadcast in Oct / Nov that was considered R18 material?

Did I miss something, I've seen R18 DVD's and nothing I've seen on there came close to it let alone close to the crap they put on the encrypted channels like Red Hot and Playboy which is akin to an 18 cert?!?

He could perhaps have put it a little better, but I believe the principle that Stan is trying to get across is that often the most effective way to get rid of unfair and unjustified laws and rules is to defy them.

Thank you thank you thank you! To both you and Scotsman for understanding. There's some fuckwits on this forum, it really is quite frightening.

I was merely making the point that vila has outlined above. Ofcom's rules stink. They make up rules to suit their needs and then pounce when they see an opportunity. Just because Ofcom make a rule, that doesn't make it a fair one, and THAT is where the parallels lie.

Some people seriously need to get a grip. Bang is (or was) a half-arsed, dishonest, stupid and ultimately self-destructive minor satellite channel.

stephen fry on a qi episode mention that the first person to mention hitler or nazis has lost the agruement and that argument ends.

they did not heed the warning beware the ides of march.

I am trying to give all of us a lot more pleasure enjoying our favourite babe channels, and defying rules has already been proven not to work. I want us all to enjoy the channels for a long time to come. SadSad

But if they're only allowed to air the lame, 15-cert material Ofcom want them to, then we're NOT going to enjoy them are we? You might be happy with just a pair of tits, silly feigned arousal and arse waggling, but many of us want to be treated like adults and being treated like adults means being able to see hardcore material on ADULT channels.

Tell you what, bobek, and the rest of you dumbfucks, go and look up the word 'principle'. Vila has painstakingly tried to point this out on my behalf countless times now.

What all you Ofcom-supporters are saying is that the babeshows should lie back and blindly obey Ofcom's regulations like good little boys, regardless of whether they think they're fair or not.
Just to add my thoughts not that it will help anything.

It was going to happen to at least one of the channels one day.

Strange thing is that things are not as filthy as they used to be. I have memories of flash the gash and Gemstones drilldo. I have memories of Jada and Bailey flashing there lower bits on a regular basis before moving to their current channels. Years back there was a point where things got very clean very quickly but things have started to get a little more risqué again but not as in your face as the old days. What I want to know is where was I when this R18 stuff was going on. I have heard about the lollypop thing but never seen anything else that I would class as too rude for unscrambled TV, definately not on a night show. And I cant believe BangBabes are being taken off air for daytime nipple slips, who gets offended by seeing glimpses of nipples. To see the glimpses of nipples you have to tune into the adult channels and if ofcom are worries about children doing that what the hell are ofcom going to do about the internet - google -> safe search off -> images -> nipples

R18 is hardcore, right? If that's the case, then hardcore porn to me is full on G/B sex, ejaculation, and anything more extreme than that. Seeing a woman either by herself or with another woman, nude, is 18 material to me. I think Ofcom finds genitals to be considered hardcore, which is silly as we can see genitals on other channels, with the difference being that it isn't live and prolonged. Either way, a penis is a penis, and a vagina is a vagina. Both normal and not bad. Penises seem to be more acceptable than vaginas on British TV I've noticed, and I'm willing to bet that we'll never see a fake vagina on the adult channels, yet we have seen dildos and such. I know I'm a broken record on this, but it's like they are blatantly calling a natural female body part disgusting because of how it looks, as if the mere image of a vagina is going to scare the hell out of a child! I guess it's possible that some vaginas resemble monsters, or the mouth of the Predator, or maybe even that bug at the end of Starship Troopers, so maybe Ofcom are on to something afteral Bounce

you really are a stupid bastard stan where is the principle in classing the 2 in the same league, vila is just as absent minded as you to be honest. but at least he has class .

if they want to carry on broadcasting on british tv then yes they have no choice, the rules have been in place for a while it cant be so hard to follow them, hell babestation do it perfectly fine. If they dont like it, then they can either go to the high courts or the houses of lords or take their channel of air and go the sexstation route,

and how does me having a go at your idiotic comparsion to apartheid make me a pro ofcom supporter.

I agree with you but in the regulations a penis is the more risky thing to show as it is'more in your face' Big Grin than a vagina and an erect penis is a total no-no.
Come come now Gents it's all getting a bit personal. Look we all hate the restrictions of com place the channels under there are things the channels can do to make life interesting.better sets,2-4-1's,different looking girls.Ultimately they do have to stay within the rules.I think the channels do need to come together as a unit and look at the future meet with sky, meet with fuck com and have an industry wide dialogue on how to move things forward.

I would say that I believe things move forward once all this gets encrypted!I remember commenting on another thread that there is no problem with adult channel,tv,climax etc until someone commented that they were being hammered as well so it will need a quite major movement to improve the attitude towards sex in this country on mainstream tv.
