The only centre back they signed was a 16 your old who is joining the youth side
What an epic failure from that clown Woodward. He bet it all on Sancho when there were bigger priorities in the squad and he didn't even get Sancho because he thought he could be the big man against Dortmund and haggle a few quid off the asking price. He's made to look like a fucking retard. He makes Bartemeu at Barcelona look like a genius because Woodward's 7 year reign has been shocking. He's had all this time to get a Director of Football and he can't be bothered, hence 99% of his transfers during this time have been mediocre or piss poor.

How is this guy even in a job? This is a rhetorical question obviously because we all know the answer. But even revenue can't save you when you can barely qualify for Europe, you ruin your reputation amongst sponsors and not to mention being further hit financially by Covid.
Jesse Lingard is going to West Ham on loan. And it's looking like Marcos Rojo is going to Boca Juniors.
It's a shame about yesterday, they've been on a helluva run up to then.
Especially given where they were around September/October, then a 2nd place finish (the best since Fergie left?) and the Europa League final were a pretty decent return.

The United Way
A new Sky Documentaries effort, mostly co-led by Eric Cantona, and relating parts of the usual MUFC story. Easily the best part was that on the Ron Atkinson years, which sounds like a regular drinking marathon (Bryan Robson and Norman Whiteside both attest to this). Arthur Albiston named at the end, but no Jesper Olsen or John Sivebaek. Or Peter Davenport. Or even Brian McClair. Still worth the look though.
I see that Manchester United have agreed terms that will see Jadon Sancho transfer from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of about £73 million.
Juan Mata has signed a 1 year contract with Manchester Utd.
The Lawman
Another Sky Docs effort, on "Scotland's greatest ever player" featuring such contributors as Kenny Dalglish, Alex Ferguson and Rod Stewart. And others.
It's now looking like Cristiano Ronaldo is set to become a Man Utd player again.
