Not sure what stat you mean, I'm assuming you mean the number of goals conceded? Last season the problem was the lack of goals scored, defensively despite the injuries and the lack of a consistent back four, United did pretty well, Arsenal only conceded 2 fewer goals than United, and Liverpool conceded 7 more than United.

Silly money, but other clubs know scum are desperate so they can charge it, and scum wil pay it Cool
Could be worse, could sign Torres for 50 or Carroll for 35....

Always a possibility but if United offer ridiculous wages over and above what other clubs can or will pay then they will appeal to the base nature of most footballers. That and the promise of being at one of the worlds biggest clubs and at the heart of a squad rebuild, not to mention the chance of European involvement next season (he says hopefully) Big Grin
Its crucial in my mind that we buy a marquee player. One of those and others will follow...
that marquee player will be angel di maria, the new number 7.

Interesting they have spent 65mill on an Argentinian as Fergie never rated Argentine players for some reason.
Bet he's having second thoughts signing now Big Laugh

What has that got to do with anything - he is no longer the manager. Di Maria is quality....its just the rest of the squad who are not coming upto par. Still it might make the Glazers dig a bit deeper and buy the players we actually need like defenders and a midfield leader who can tackle, pass and bollock indifferent players.
