cannot see that Anderson would be missed, hopefully a few others follow suit and get fucked off like smalling, cleverley etc.

squad needs some serious investment and without a top four finish this season i reckon Rooney will leave but again i cant see Moyes having the pulling power to attract a top drawer player that would want to play for him - i mean if moyes was in charge when van persie was at arsenal i dont think van persie would have chosen man u i think he only joined because of the chance to play for fergie.
Certainly agree about getting rid of some of the squad. He will attract top flight players if there is a big enough budget to attract them. Money and the chance to win honours are all that counts with top flight players.
I think United could do with Charlton coming out of retirement to replace cleverley until we can sign someone.

Remember the great holy trinity of Law Charlton and Best now we have the bermuda triangle of smalling cleverley and welbeck - they play and the points go missing!
Lol but have to see with Moyes. He has to overhaul the squad. Being fair to him the squad was in need of investment 3 or 4 years ago, too many of our key players are well into their 30's and most of their replacements have not shown their potential.
All we need to do is buy a couple of Centre backs, a left back, a playmaker in mid who can tackle and keep hold of Rooney, Jones, De Gea, Januzaj, Rafael, Kagawa and van Persie (keep him fit too) oh and give Zaha a chance to show what he can do...and then we will be fine Big Grin
agee i would like to see him give zaha a chance - he's give everyone else but him a go - maybe there was some truth in zaha shagging moyes's daughter which is why he's been frozen out - perhaps give lingard who was on loan at birmingham and did well in pre-season a chance and maybe macheda a go to - they cant do no worse than some of the others.

Defence is a big problem - smalling is just awful - better defenders have been allowed to go or go without being given a chance the likes of shawcross, pique, cathcart, etc etc.

Vidic has struggled with fitness for the last two years and rio and desperately we need some quality there and a ball winner - they all say ozil has been the difference in the arsenal team but i think its been flamini the ball winner that has been the major difference there in their improvement.
Have to laugh. Reports in the press saying Moyes has been handed £150 million for transfers. Much as I would love that I can't see that being the case. Just hope we buy sensibly and where we need strengthening. One rumour I would love to be true is that we are in for Vidal. As ever I will wait til it happens.
also in the press that moyes has actually said big players still want to wear the man utd badgeRolleyes. going on the last transfer window im not so sure thats the case but suppose we will see wether or not thats the case. think ur rite about vidal though, looking at him playing at juve, top player. i think the rite fit for man utd is gundogan, i think he should be ur number 1 target. if he dont sign again for dortmund im sure madrid will be knocking on door soon and he will prob go there though.

The big question is whether it's wise to give £150 million to a man who spent £27.5 million on Fellaini.
I want to give Moyes more time before I get on his back but have to agree it was not a great move. I feel it was an act of desperation to buy someone he knew, given the failure to land better players. Not a case that players won't come to United but more a case that Woodward, our new chief exec never offered the going price for those targets, who then went elsewhere for better money. I agree with him saying that top players prices are over-inflated, but you have have to pay up if you want them...especially when they then went and paid £10 million more for Fellini than he is worth. Just hoping lessons have been learned by the new manager and chief executive.
maybe put this up a bit too soon lol, but it looks like its happening.
