best moyes could attract is a 40 year old Distin - still he is miles better than useless smalling - it was obvious when he came on united would concede - he is useless. Smalling will never make a decent defender as long as he has a hole in his arse!

Bring back william prunier! LOL
Can the jokers who want to take the piss out of my team do so in the banter thread and leave this free for people who wish to make sensible posts. This is not a thread to vent you hatred or confirm your feelings of inadequacy.
i am a man u fan Bytor just merely pointing out that there are alot of useless players there like smalling etc and Fergie knew this! somehow he got the best out of them to win us the league last year!

Just saying he signed smalling for 12m but let better defenders go like pique and shawcross for less! pique or smalling - no comparison
Sorry that wasn't aimed at you but one or two trolls who posted before you.
bytor I am not a troll at all, my post was less "trollish" than the guys post you just apologised too!? All it was a light hearted joke as united are actually mid table..... there is no need to get defensive or angry, was just trying to have a little joke with you. I didn't realise you would get funny about it. Even then it wasn't really so much a joke but it was a sensible post too... why would Gundogan want to leave Dortmund in a promising young team with a really good manager who are on the up to a team that are seemingly in decline under a relitavely unknown manager around europe in moyes?...

To me moyes seems out of his depth at united and they would have been better approaching Klopp for the job instead of moyes, then maybe klopp could have attracted some of the dortmund players to follow him?

Personally I do not see moyes lasting more than 2 seasons at united.

Times are changing it football and maybe now uniteds time at the very top is coming too an end as liverpools did, the united team needs a rebuild as liverpool did and now liverpool are looking strong again. It happens to all teams...

At the moment he is but United are working on a new deal though that's not to say that they won't fuck that up. He should be a big star in the future.
Rumours are going around that Zaha might be loaned out....can't be anything to do with the fact that he has supposedly been shagging David Moyes daughter laugh
The Glazers have made £100 million available for transfers but Moyes has said that we might not buy in January as it's unlikely there will be anyone suitable to buy...unlike in the traditional summer window when we were such a major success in buying in much needed players.

Any real truth to the rumours which are going around that Zaha's supposedly been shagging David Moyes daughter? I bet wherever he is loaned out to she'll go with him!!
The Glazers have made £100 million available for transfers I hope Moyes realises now that he might have to buy in January whether there are players suitable to buy or not.

Feel free to be critical, believe me I am not happy with the direction the club has taken since David Gill retired as Chief Executive but all I am saying is if people wish to take the piss (which they are entitled to do) could they simply post it in the banter thread and leave this free for genuine posts. Much as some Liverpool fans requested a few months ago in their thread. Unlike some others, that is something I have honoured. Again my comment was not particularly aimed at you.

As for Moyes...I am holding my opinion at the moment. He is still finding his feet. The team still has some quality in it but as you point out it is easy for a drop in form to gather pace unless corrective action is taken. Not sure I would agree that we are no longer a top team. It is only October and our current position does not mean we are now a mid table team...I'll get back to you in May about that. We have ample resources to buy the extra quality that we need in certain key areas.
Also, having just signed a £300 million deal with Nike would suggest that the sponsors don't feel they are backing a mid table team.

My concern lies with the new chief executive who has a policy that he will only pay what he considers to be the right price. A noble sentiment, but in today's game you have to pay the going rate for a player if you want to remain competitive.
Ok fair point, like I said mycomment was a little joke but also just a serious point too, Only paying the right amount for a player is not a bad thing though, at liverpool we sign both Sturridge and coutinho both for 20m where as chelsea sign Torres for 50m and he has score 1 premier league goal in 28 games, so that might be good for united only paying what a player is worth.

Look at madrid too, Bale has not made a difference to them at all, constant injury problems and the few time he has play for them he has been ineffective, when you have Ronaldo there is no need to spend 90m plus on a player.

Im not sure what Moyes was thinking with his transfer targets though in Fellaini and the guy from Bilbao?

Do you think he will last more than 2 season?
Like I said I'm happy to give him some time but not sure if he will still be here in two years and I have to sdmit to be concerned with the current situation. However, the players are the same ones who won the premiership last season so they have to stand up and be counted to some extent. I was concerned he got rid of an excellent backroom staff though and replaced them with inexperienced people. Phelan and Muelenstein would have given him some stability in the interim. United are in the same league as Real Madrid when it comes to off field global business...they just have to mirror that on the field with an improved squad. Fellaini is a decent player but is not one we need.
I hope you thought I wasn't taking the mickey bytor. I have to say that in Moyes' defence I think the club needs to give as much time as possible to get the team to gel but there were a few fans on 606 last night who seem to be of the opinion that his tactical acumen doesn't seem to be suiting the club.
