If a bird had shit in front of him then he would have tripped up over it Big Grin
Just love the press and their speculation. So apparently United, along with Chelsea and Arsenal have had their hopes dashed as Bayern have now swooped for Sami Khedira....Really...dashed? I doubt that this would dash any hopes as he was just one of the hundreds of rumours that journalists who know fuck all have been reporting on since May. So what happened with the links to Vidal, Strootman, Mangala, Rami, Falcao et al? lol
Only Arsenal and Bayern prob have had a chance of signing him Arsenal only because of the number of germans already playing there and munich well because of there history and the fact would be only 2 hours drive from stuttgart his home
Even with the name of LVH united will be hampared in transfer market as the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool can at least offer CL footy this season to any of 'big names' on their radar.

Always a possibility but if United offer ridiculous wages over and above what other clubs can or will pay then they will appeal to the base nature of most footballers. That and the promise of being at one of the worlds biggest clubs and at the heart of a squad rebuild, not to mention the chance of European involvement next season (he says hopefully) Big Grin
Its crucial in my mind that we buy a marquee player. One of those and others will follow...

Hopefully. Won't be building my hopes until he is confirmed by United. The run up to the end of the month should be exciting for fans of several clubs, I expect Wink
60 mil for Di maria WTF !!! didnt you lot see him play against Switzerland in the world cup he was shocking ok he was ok for Real madrid leading la liga in assists but thats when he has an outstanding team around him to play with him not that shower u call a midfield and a defence Wink

You concentrate on your own teams struggle in the championship you troll Wink
Di Maria is class and had a good final game in the WC before getting injured. I do think a defensive midfielder is needed more though.
