The "Westminster List" makes for interesting reading. If it's accurate then Fallon"s resignation isn't only due to touching Julia Hartley-Brewer's knee.
The other interesting thing is that the list only features Conservatives. Either there is some serious shenanigans at play or there's more to come because there's no way the other parties are whiter than white.
It just feels like damage limitation and misdirection. Especially with Thezza going "any ministers will be sacked" which might as well have said "go ahead, Boris, make my day".
Fallon (and Damian Green for that matter) don't convince as sex pests, which suggests scapegoats to me.
I have to say that given the crisis at Westminster at present I would say the chances of another election next year or before completing Brexit are likely. If Mrs May lasts to spring next year or even May next year I'll be surprised but this current crisis could hasten things towards another election pretty quickly and I don't think she has shown any real sign getting to grips with the situation despite what she has been saying I have little doubt a government vote defeat would only add pressure on her and most likely force her resignation. And the Patel meetings only show how much real power she does have.
