I can see UKIP taking a handful of seats and the LibDims under Tim "i don't like gays but don't ask me about it" Farron taking back a few they lost last time & gaining some more.

I fully expect Labour to be absolutely hammered. Corbyn isn't popular outside of his Lefty London Empire and it may well prompt the sort of reboot that brought us John Smith and ultimately Tony Blair.

I wouldn't be surprised if May comes away with 50 or more extra seats.
I think maybe there will be more tactical voting this time, Brexit may come into play.Get a party elected who wants another vote.....suspend your normal voting patterns until we can the re-vote on Brexit, then when we all vote to stay in we can return to our normal voting pattern. I know this sounds far fetched but you never know. When 1 thing changes it alters the dynamic of the election and you cannot for
see what outcomes we may get.bladewave
so what happens if Corbyn wins his seat and May loses hers?
Hmmm amazing Carswell says he wont be standing and a few hours later Nigel Farage says he is not putting himself forward lol

Corbyn carries on as Labour Leader and the Tories have a leadership election. I can't see either of them losing their seats to be honest.

This type of thinking makes no sense whatsoever.

With no election now, there would be in at least 2020, with an election now, there will be in at most 2021/2022, so basically about the same time. Good or bad she would be blamed for brexit any way.

Without this election she could claim well I was remain, wasn't really elected and had to do the best I could in bad circumstances.

With this election is is completely responcible for any out come becasue that's what she has called this election for.

She's done absolutely the right thing, people were accusing her of not being properly elected, conservatives only had a small majority, and all the other people were going to fight her all the way, plus any rebels. Not to mention the Sturgeon fool who claims she wants independaence but i fact wants to be an annex of the EU, probably another net recipient.

I was watching the PM question time a couple of weeks ago and those SNP fools got up and ask the same damn question time and again, like silly grinning school kids who thought they were being clever. You could visably see May was getting really irritated about this.

This election will for once and for all clear the air so she can get on with it, the public can vote the Tories out next time either way.

The only problem May will face will be dumb lazy young people who didn't have an app to their fingers last time and didn't vote in the referendum. They might think Tories out, end of Brexit which would be totally wrong. I for one will be voting for May to help avoid this.

There's no viable alternative party now, I have problems with the present governament over harrasing the sick and disabled out of their benefits, but at the moment she is the only person capable of doing the job.
Dawn Butler did an excruciatingly embarrassing car-crash interview on Radio 4 this evening. Labour's shadow cabinet is threadbare of talent.
yeah she is this generations diane abbott Tongue Tongue Tongue
