For me Theresa May showed why she is the only choice on 8th June. She is only leader to say she will walk away with no deal in Brexit talks rather than accept a bad one. All the other leaders have stated they would not do this and this would give the EU free reign to offer us the worst possible deal knowing that they would not be prepared to walk away without one
^^

The problem is that the Tories will not quantify their vision of a bad deal, thus it is not possible to for us to be sure that no deal is better than a bad deal. A bad deal for fanatics like John Redwood might not be a bad deal for sensible people. Besides, no deal is a bad deal. That is why we need people who will take a constructive approach to negotiations, rather than all this posturing to attract UKIP voters. The Tories are playing fast and loose with ordinary people's livelihoods.
the idea of a bad deal is where we would be worse off than even if we went to WTO rules basically paying a huge payoff and still having to pay a lot for free trade and customs union and have ECJ having Jurisdiction also the fact if there's a problem then the EU has final say which they have been spouting

going into a negotiation saying we will take anything you give us is a recipe for a big butt fucking by the Europeans Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

I voted remain because I saw this would happen and we didn't need it but need to stop whinging and get on with it
Thing is, no sensible politician would talk in terms of what to do about a bad deal, because they're not trying to get a bad deal! If a top footballer talks about signing for Chelsea or Manchester United, you don't expect them to go "but I'll settle for Stockport County if I have to, it's better than nothing".
General election yawn

I think the aggresive threateing tone of the EU demanding everyhting they want BEFORE negotiations have started have forced May to take this stance.

Each day that arrives the EU plucks out even more demands.

It's almost has if they are taking the piss now, you can't really negotiate with these type of poeple.

It's all bout trying to get money out of Britian, always was.

All this shit about you will be better in the EU than out is now abundantly clear that was a smoke screen to keep the UK in the EU for UK money becasue the EU wants and NEEDS that UK money; if they didn't it would be just,' by then, see you'.

The majority of the countries in the world are not in the EU and find a way to trade with them.

UK cannot be black mailed.

And would Ranaldo really play for stock port?
the uk hasn't got a negotiating leg to stand on. the eu holds all the cards, there will be no 'good' deal for us. it's an almost incomprehensible task to untangle ourselves from the eu and it's institutions, and is will be going on for years beyond the 2 year deadline. this will prove to be the single biggest financial harm that any people has visited on themselves, bar none.

but at least we can stop the immigrants from taking over, eventually! (you know, by making ourselves as poor as them!) Rolleyes
The only thing Jeremy Corbyn is a candidate for is an allotment ...

actually your wrong we do have a fairly strong hand. especially in things like supply chain and the fact the Germans and a lot of european companys use london as a credit market to raise money.

Ireland has a lot to lose if we dont get a deal because UK will lower corporation tax and will attract a lot of the american companies that use ireland as a base. think about apart from the tax benefits why else would you base yourselfs in ireland Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
