Having cocked up the General Election, Mayniac has pretty much gifted SF the initiative in the NI assembly. The DUP will be the new Lib Dems & etc

I doubt if Corbyn won't be getting a press apology anytime soon
Well, the press did say the Labour manifesto would take Britain back to the 1970s... and it seems that that's what we've got Surprised
I did take the friday off work to stay up all night/morning & watch the whole GE unfold & I don't know which was the biggest scalp & shock of the night. It was probably Nick Clegg getting his marching orders & watching his face as the numbers were read out was comedy gold.Alex Salmond & Angus Robertson getting their P45's brought a smile to my face as well.
Old Tim Farron survived by the skin of his bollocks to scrape past with 777 votes with Mr Fish Finger taking 300 votes off him.He then had the brass neck to call for Theresa May's head.
Zac Goldsmith scraped through by & by a gnat's cock (45 votes) to return to his seat & oust one of them hideous London Dungeon's rejects Sarah Olney (she makes the bride of Wildenstein look like Miss World).
I was pleased to see a few of the maverick MP's get recalled in Beast of Bolsover Dennis Skinner, Vauxhall's Kate Hoey, Peter Bone & Nadine Dorries.

All in all there's no doubt Tories diabolical campaign pretty much resulted in the closing in the gap in the polls in the end where the Dementia Tax,scrapping free school meals, offering a free vote on fox hunting, cutting police numbers & refusing to take part in the tv debates bit Theresa May in the arse hard.If Tories are to learn anything from the GE it would be they cannot just offer the public cuts to public services particularly when the population of the country is expanding by 300,000 a year.If I was a 1st time voter & was faced with the prospect of a party offering belt tightening & fuck all else & party offering the moon on a stick,I'd vote for the moon without looking at the economics.Tories would do well to ditch the woeful political advisors as well as Lynton Crosby who cooked up an awful campaign.
As much as I dislike Corbyn (I wouldn't trust him as far as I could spit) I would take my hat off to him for mobilising the young & 1st time voters though.
May's time in charge as PM will ultimately boil down to how she progresses in Brexit negotiations,if she appears to be firm & decisive & that bloody awkward woman mantra (I doubt it now) not bowing down to the EU's demands & when things get tough she may yet endear herself to the MP's plotting her demise.
As good as he is talking in public or to an audiance Boris would be a fucking disaster as PM though.
Boris Johnson is already the bookmakers favourite to be next Conservative leader.

It's interesting too that bookmakers think there is a strong chance of another general election this year.
If there is a chance of another GE again this year then it could boil down to whether she wins that Queen's speech vote or not Amazing that an online petition against the Tory/DUP coaltition has attracted over 300,000 signatures in 12 hours. Mrs May would very to keep Boris away from the Brexit negotiations we don't want him building up the worlds' Prosecco stocks in his back yard!! LP Big Grin

I hope Mrs May soon realises that the coalition might not work out too well when you still have to re - negotiate the restoration of the Northern Ireland Assembly!! and the DUP will probably now be one of the main negotiators in the process!! THE DUP have certainly got her right where they want her.

We'll probably relive the 80's all over again too once we've done the 70's again!! Tongue Big Grin I actually do commend Corbyn for his performances in the campaigning I think he made Mrs May look like a rabbit in headlights at times
Cant believe the CONservatives are so stupid to allow May to remain as their figurehead, it is a huge mistake. All through the election campaign she showed an arrogance not even Thatcher could have bettered. Has she learned anything from it? has she fuckannoyed! It is going to be fun watching these tories squirm when the DUP start making their demands. I wouldnt allow May to negotiate a double glazing order now, Europe will treat her with contempt. She isnt just damaging the CON party, she is damaging the country. Osborne is sticking the knife deep, they will turn on each other, its going to be anything but "strong and Stable":(Sad
