Reading the posts here, it's impossible to disagree. It's simply a case of the posts speaking for themselves.

Some of the posters in this thread would be.

I say that without the slightest hesitation.

Based on what?

True.

And if Studio 66 went to wall just imagine how some people in this thread would celebrate.

Sorry I think you are wide of the mark. If Studio66 went to the wall it would leave a big gap which would not be filled; Bluebird went bust and have not been replaced leaving us with less choice. We would be left with an RLC/BS duopoly which would likely mean less channels and less choice.

I can't speak for all the contributors, but I think we all want S66 to be brilliant because they still are the best studio for getting new girls into Nightshows (Jamie if nothing else seems to be a good salesman). Without that I suspect we would be recycling the current set of girls for ever more because both BS and RLC would want safe hands in terms of revenue.

I spend my life picking up the mess salesteams leave behind. What I would love to do is sit Jamie down, look at his finances (particularly operational costs and the seperate revenue strands for shows, websites, etc), force him to define a future roadmap for his business and then beat him for the next 12 months until he delivers it. That would include a ban on nebulous and frivolous parties or ventures (such as this new website with a load of software photos of the girls which frankly doesn't have a financial leg to stand on - so many others are established and do it better and there is fuck all that is unique about it).

There is so much potential in S66; in the setup, the girls and the marketability of the brand that it just pisses me off that they can fuck it up and ultimately leave less babeshows on air for me to watch.

So whether we are positive about S66 output at the moment, or less so, we all want them to improve and be sustainable.

Sorry went on longer than I thought sensibleWink

It reminds me of people who go to football matches simply to shout abuse at their own team. Why go in the first place? To me it makes no sense, but the people concerned obviously get something out of it.

Some of the posts here are nasty and spiteful to the point where it does make me wonder what gratification exactly people are getting out of it. But then it takes all sorts to make a world.

Picking up the remote and changing the channel doesn't tell the people behind the channels what people actually think of the product they're providing.

I would suggest there are very few, if any, people on here who want to see the channel fold altogether. There are a majority on here however who would like Studio 66 to pull their finger out and get back to somewhere near what they were. To use a football analogy as you've done, it's like having one of the best players in the world playing for your team and consistently playing like a pub player.

This is a forum and everyone is entitled to their own views. Personally I can't see how anyone can defend what's happening at the channel and continue to see positives just now but they're fully entitled to say it just as those who hate what it's become are free to express their views. I guess those who don't like the "insults" and "abuse" could always change to another thread.
well I deleted my comment and only got partly quoted. Whoop! But basically it was how a while ago more people got the point of this thread, but it feels like it's broken down lately. The thread peaked and then fell away and it's inspired more and more blind hate across the forum, sadly. Most of the posters got the point, but I stopped posting in the thread as much when some did not.
Think most forum members don't want s66 to fold and do put forward their criticisms in this thread in a constructive way along with their suggestions for how s66 can improve. However there is a small number of forum members I think who do have an agenda against s66 bad and are hellbent on wanting it out of business, they have used this thread for their agenda and as ratedr has said, has caused the thread to break down

Yes, including the expression of "blind hate" as RatedR mentioned.

There you go again Rammy. Surprised it's not all bad Tongue
I would never want a babe channel business to close down. Competition in the industry means new talent on our screens on different channels and allows babes to be flexible from moving from one channel to another. Sure S66 have lost some big names recently but to say they are going to close down is unnecessary, instead I would rather encourage them to find new talent which will one day become big as the babes which have left. All S66 need to do is encourage the babes more through their producers and camera men and also introduce some new sets. IMO if the channel does fail it wont be because of babes leaving it will be because of the lack of direction they receive from camera men and producers a topic which has become distorted in this thread.

P.S Im a Babestation Fan

Bingo. We're back on track. There has been some improvement on that front since this thread kicked into gear, but without professional consistancy. They will literally lose s66 money when they can't be bothered.
