I wasn't referring to Elite! I mentioned what I saw happen to BBTV.
Not sure if anyone wants to read my big rant on the subject of nightshow girls versus current nightshow slots

http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...pid1495473

Pretty much, S66 assuming they are keeping S66 USA long term. Studio66 does have a few options now based on what I've concluded on the rant I've linked.

1. If Jenna Hoskins is really successful, hire her as a regular night girl.

2. Raise up the potential night girls : Jade Adele or Kara De la Hoya if they are interested in being night show regulars. They could also check if there is any day girls interested in being a night girl.

3. Hire a new girl specific for one nightshow shift a week or possibly 2.

4. Do what they've been doing and hire a lot "specials" [see reference in my rant post] to provide cover during regular nightshow girl absences.

Anyone that reads my rant on about the current number of slots will understand that losing 3 night girls was a neccessary evil for keeping Studio66 USA. They just had too many girls and not enough slots once they did started up the USA channel.

Still sucks that we lost Caty and Lilly though. annoyed Just means I'll be calling RLC and BS a bit more often.
^^^I wonder when the Studio66 USA second channel will start?...

I hope I'm wrong but has the USA adventure been the last throw of the dice for S66. I suppose time will tell.

But didn't people like you say exactly the same thing in 2010 when Bluebird started up and poached all the leading Elite TV girls (as they were called then)? With such a crippling exodus the channel was supposed to be near to the end, but that was 4 years ago and it's still here.

Looking back, Elite TV were lucky to survive back then imo, Elite soldiered on for a while after some girls left to join BB, but later they benefited greatly when due to numerous complaints, Ofcom revoked the licence of 1 of their rival channels, Bang Babes got the licence revoked of all their own channels and later finished all together, Elite then picked up some of their girls strengthening their line up .

Also some channels that were broadcasting Bluebird shows when BB first stared on TV suffered the same fate, Ofcom revoked the licence of 3 or 4 of the channels Bluebird were using back then (the channels that used to broadcast the various Babeworld and Live 960 programs that BB were using), this led to a mass exodus from BB, once again Elite benefited from rival channels getting their licence revoked and were able to pick up more girls . Maybe STD 66 could do with the same sort of thing happening again ? .

It makes me wonder what rival channel it was that was known to have contributed over the years to complaints received by Ofcom concerning rival broadcasters lol ? .

I didn't suggest otherwise. I'm just pointing out that the prophets of doom in this forum haven't been very successful.

As Rammyrascal pointed out, it wasn't long ago that Babestation was supposed to be on the verge of shutting down.

Stuidio 66 still has Yasmine and the USA crowd.

And when I look at the channel they are 80-90 % busy on the phones.

I can't say the same for Redlight or Babestation.

I swear Candy Charms on Redlight went hours without a single call over the weekend.......literally.

Surprised

S.

You can't compare to BS to 66 BS have between. 10 & 40 in the que at anyone time, just because a girl is shaking the phone doesn't mean the calls aren't building up,
As for Redlight they have discreet mics.

The point is the channel had plenty of top girls back then and those that left didn't leave a huge hole. At that time Caty made it clear she wasn't interested in going anywhere else. The fact that she has now moved on speaks absolute volumes about the state of the channel as far as I'm concerned.

For getting on for a year we've waited for Studio 66 to do something to bring back at least a glimmer of what it used to be. Back then it was sexy, innovative and imaginative. Sadly, to put it bluntly, it's now just crap and nothing they're doing gives any hope they'll raise that level.

A good attempt at fiction!

Elite TV "soldiered on" with night lineups including Caty Cole, Sophia Knight and Danica, 3 of the most successful girls in babe channel history.

The supposed benefit of Bang Babes closing down was virtually non-existent, as newcomer Red Light had started not long before and were by far the major beneficiary, even taking Bang Babes channels over.

Judging by the efforts Elite went through to grass the channels, they clearly couldn't see anything but benefits.

BangBabes closing was a big deal, some of the shows they were putting out was a big threat to Elite. Zarwood was at it's peak then.

Yes RLC did benefit, but they had already announced that they were getting more channels before Bang finished.
RLC didn't take over any Bang Babes channels, the Bang Babes channels were removed from the Sky Adult section completely as was there freeview channel when their licence got revoked.

RLC did not have any channels of their own at that time and still don't, RLC were broadcasting at that time on Playboy channels and still are.
RLC started broadcasting on the Playboy channels used for a short time by Bangbabes when they lost their own licence, RLC also took over the channel used by ChatGirl that was owned by Playboy as well around that time .

Bang Babes/Tease ME TV was in some sort of partnership with RLC at the time Ofcom revoked their licence and were part run by Bang Babes, http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...#pid633694 so there was always the likelihood of them getting some girls when Bang finished, including the part owner of RLC Cathy Barry .

Tease ME TV used to operate various services for RLC including running their website. Some Bang Babe broadcasts were already starting to be broadcast from the RLC Bristol studios before they had there licence revoked as well..
Iv'e always wondered if possibly RLC were already gearing up to take over to some degree the running of the Bang Babe channels before they finished, but that is pure speculation by me and not based on facts.

I believe these Bang Babe/The Pad girls joined Elite TV when Bang Babes finished or shortly after they finished (and possibly others)

Fernanda
Gemma Hiles
Emma Spellar
Lucy- Anne
Kimberley Gordon
Sammie Pennington (after a brief stint on BS Days)
Adele ?

Was the benefit of these girls joining Elite virtually non existent ? . The majority of them are still at STD 66 to day , that must say something .
