Arrow Executive Producer Wendy Mericle had said that the identity of Vigilante will be revealed in Season 6 I did make a post a couple months saying that they didn't forget and that it's part of a plan. She said he will have connection to Team Arrow characters now they have said he so his a male or is it red herring.
Slade/Deathstroke will be teaming up with Oliver to find his son Joe. Also detective will be getting close to finding out Olivers secret.
