felicity in the past has been an awesome character providing the humour and lightness compared to the darkness of the show and queen which is why olicity worked well. the same can be said about Lincoln on the 100 is a great character but badly treated by the creative people. at the moment the flash, arrow, izombie, supernatural have better storytelling than the 100.

The show evolves and moves on when central characters leave, tommy was partially central to season1 and his death help oliver change, it is also like on criminal minds a character that has been on the show since day one has left and the actor wanted to leave at the end of the last season but the writers wanted to give that actor a good send off which they need.
Ep 23 the season finale will be titled "Schism"
Could do something more with the Felicity character she comes across more as an afterthought in recent weeks. I would imagine Black Canary would appear again as someone else but Laurel Lance/Black Canary is as stamped in the Arroworld as Catwoman and Robin is stamped in the Batman world so they will not be allowed to deviate too much from this, Black Canary has been around since the 50's
Ep 21 "Monument Point"

TOM AMANDES RETURNS AS NOAH KUTTLER – When Team Arrow learns what Damien Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) next move is Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) realizes she needs to ask her father, Noah Kuttler (guest star Tom Amandes), for help. Noah and Oliver (Stephen Amell) have a heart to heart talk that leaves Oliver rattled.
The identity of the character in the grave is revealed in this evening's episode on sky1 this evening "Eleven Fifty Nine" at 8pm. Lots of people have been kicking off in the states about who is in the grave. I know who is in the grave & I'm not as upset as these people. Can't wait to see the fallout from this on the dc to shows
Tonight in the states Arrow is back and after the death of a certain character another character takes its it hard and loses the plot Sad.

Fantastic episode on sky 1 tonight with a shocking ending
As people are aware now its Black Canary thats dead, the reason why was uproar is because in the comics Green Arrow and Black Canary were close and in a relationship like Lois and Clark. It isn't the last we'll be seeing of her as her Earth-2 counterpart will be appearing in The Flash near the end of season 2. I see why they killed her as good or bad people are talking about it if it was a character that no one liked then it wouldn't have had the same impact. Rumours are Black Canary will be in live action possibly The Flash or Justice League.

in episode 22 of season 2 to be precise the earth 2 counterpart of Laurel Lance aka Black Siren appears (the penultimate episode of The Flash Season 2) will be on in 4 weeks in uk

I said a while ago I had a theory about the character in the grave returning. Now the episode has aired in uk I will explain.

Black Siren gets trapped on earth 1, crosses paths with team arrow and ends up finding out about earth-1 Laurel Lance (black canary) and takes up the Black Canary Mantle

or in legends of tomorrow, Sara Lance goes back in time and saves laurel
