With Gotham the Joker has been on there yet now when he eventually does appear it will probably be pre Joker so it won't be a threat to the big screen version of him similar how when Smallville was around and Superman Returns came out he was Clark Kent but actually Superman so Warner Bros weren't too fast with having Smallville and Superman Returns out at the same time.
