All fun games, so it's tough deciding what one to play most! Pokémon definitely hits the nostalgia bone hard... but Smash has all those characters to unlock!

After about 60 hours of playthrough (& 4 of those trying to beat the Queen of Valkryie Boss) I managed to complete God of War (on hardest dificulty) with 100% completion thus earning the Platinum Trophy.Being a bit Trophy obsessed of the 18 Platinum Trophies I've got the God one felt the most satisfying because of how good the game is.

Firewatch(PS4);

Trying to work through the backlog of uncompleted games (& clear some Hard-Drive space) I stumbled across this unplayed game I downloaded a year or so ago. Firewatch is an adventure game that's between 4-5 hours long set as a FP game where you play as Henry whose wife has been struck down with the delibitating Alzheimer's/Dementia & she goes to be looked after & cared for by her family in Australia.Henry decides to take a Fire/Park Warden stationed in a Fire/Watch Tower in the Shoshone National Park in Wyoming that suffered ravaging fires in the Yellowstone Fires a year ago in 1988. Being set in 1989 the technology (or lack of it) Henry has for company during the Summer period reflects that with only a walkman, a set of books,a deckchair to help admire the scenery & a walkie-talkie.Henry (voiced by a Seth McFarlene soundalike) enjoys a flirtacious & at times humorous banter on his walkie-talkie converations with his boss Delilah who is stationed at a nearby Fire/Watch Tower.Delilah will often give details of certain incidents that have happened for Henry to investigate from missing people in the park to fireworks & fires set off by vandals etc which involves exploring a large mapped scenery armed with a rucksack of ropes,a map,an axe & a compass.In essence this is an exploration game where the only means of transport is by foot so walking from one end of the map to another whilst admiring the lush,often hazy (it is a hot Summers day) scenery in the middle of a forest (the graphics are cel-shaded) can be a bit of a grind after a while.The storyline halfway through bears a canny resemblance the 80's film Stand By Me.

Overall this is a short but sweet exploration game with a pretty engaging storyline. 7/10.

DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition PS4

F1 2018 on PS4. Currently running with Michael Schumacher’s 2004 Ferrari. The onboard engine sound is incredible, the car handles like a dream on the more technical circuits. Beautiful.
