Playing Infamous 2 started the game a couple months ago but wanna finish it up so can start Infamous: Second Son and then Infamous: First Light which i got last week.
Playing Killzone Shadow Fall, it looks and sounds great but, and I don't know if it's just me, but there are lots of parts when exactly what you need to be doing really isn't very clear which can get extremely annoying when you're constantly dying whilst trying to work out what's going on, and as always in games these days there are the parts that are just insanely manic and seem impossible to get past or just added to cause maximum frustration or maybe I just shouldn't be playing it on the hard setting! I should say I am actually enjoying it I just wish it was a bit less vague.
currently hating with a passion PS fucking 4 and everything to do with it. First the shambles that is Driveclub then when trying to log onto Destiny being told that my account has been dismissed or has been signed in by another person? How?? Utter garbage. For all the lower specs the xbox1 is a far better machine, with better games and a professional online service. Rant over
I've been keeping an eye on what you guys are saying here regards the PS4 and especially Driveclub.
I haven't yet purchased a PS4 because the games I'm most interested in are not available, ie Gran Turismo.
I did however consider Driveclub as a potential contender as a valid reason to make the purchase but wasn't really sure what to expect. It would seem my patience has paid off because from what I've read it's nothing but a load of shite. So, with GT7 not looking likely to be released this year I very much doubt I'll be buying a PS4 anytime soon.
Also I've read that my steering wheel and pedal set (Logitech) isn't currently being supported by Sony because they haven't included the necessary drivers to make that happen. It would appear to me that Sony have made a deal with Thrustmaster because the T300 wheel and pedals set is being released as the official PS4 wheel. Needless to say I'm far from impressed and quite disappointed with this news.
Currently playing the Bayonetta 2 demo on the Wii U, Destiny and Fifa 14 on PS4 and Infamous 2 on the PS3.

Afraid its true regarding the logitech wheel. I can't work out Sony. They make great products but just don't seem to offer good support. Everything about the PS4 has been about promise that always fails to fully deliver.
A year ago the xbox1 was the inferior machine with a top heavy operating system, while Sony had the more impressive machine that was slicker and faster. In those 12 months MS have made countless changes to their system while Sony look to have rested on their Laurels somewhat. I'd say that the Xbox is the better machine now with more stability and while it can't quite compete with the PS4's 1080p it still has excellent graphics that have been boosted. (I say this impartially as I own both machines and base my opinion on my own findings). The xbox also has for me, more games of note.
Forza 5 - a year down the road, with many free online updates-still the best semi-serious racer, Titanfall-quite simply the best online shooter. Ryse-a novel hack and thrust game based in ancient Rome and (multi platform with the PS4), Destiny, oh and the imminent release of Halo anniversary and next years Halo 5 to look forward too.
What really grinds my gears is the fact that Logitech made the Driving Force GT (the official PS3 wheel) which is why so many bought it along with it's bigger brother's as in the G25 and G27.
Now with the PS4 they've seemingly ditched Logitech and all it's loyal customers and said "fuck to you"
I believe Logitech made the decision some time ago to stop developing new wheels, this could be the reason for turning to Thrustmaster? OK so that's fair enough under those circumstances, but what about the vast amount of Logitech wheels sold already? The bin?
It's a deliberate and dirty trick to try and create Thrustmaster sales IMO. I hope it gets boycotted to a point where introducing the Logitech drivers, might seem like a must for Sony to help boost under-achieving game sales due to disgruntled fans, like myself.
Am gonna totally defend Sony because i did call it that the mess that happened with Driveclub, we all know the story with Driveclub supposed to being a launch game with the PS4 and it was supposed to be free game, it was then supposed to come out between April and June but the delayed again till october i have no problem with any game being delayed as ing as they have more time to give us a better finished product and now with the mess with the launch of the game. They should have released a Alpha and Beta of the game so they could have tested the servers thats exactly what Bungie did with Destiny and even tho that game has problems here and there the online has been pretty smooth. When Call of Duty was fresh on the market they tested the servers and if they had done that with Driveclub they wouldn't have had these problems. Sony ain't the only one that has issues with servers EA have been well known for having major problems when it coms to servers especially with games like Fifa and Need For Speed.
I give credit where its due as Microsoft have always been good when it comes to working with online stuff, i know this as my uncle used to work for them and no one is as good as them when it comes to running servers smoothly.
Generally speaking i am a little disappointed with both next gen as none of them have really given us a game which truly takes advantage of all that extra horse power, i know its really early days yet so they need time to give us the quality games which should be in 2015/2016 where we will so the 2nd generation next gen games until then where just gonna get ports of previous gen games.
This is why i still play my PS3 and more so my Wii U look at games like Bayonetta 2 the game is running at 1080p at 60fps and its not even as powerful as either a PS4 or Xbox yet they pump out a game like that and its getting 9 and tens in its reviews for looking so beautiful.
There's even talk of developers being disappointed with the next gen consoles already as they consoles are not as powerful as they thought they were, the Xbox One can't fully do 1080p and PS4 can, yet neither one can or will be able to support 4K resolution and partly why there not as powerful was to cut back on costs on the hardware.
Sony when it comes to marketing have fucked up big time and really should something for the customers after whats happened but there not the only ones look at whats happened with Ubisoft and with Assassins Creed Unity it was running at 1080p and 60fps but now been dumped down to 900p at 30fps and there coming up with bullshit excuses and have been caught with there pants down.
Most if not all the next gen games are running at 30 frames per second and were promised with next gen we would be getting 60fps and the funny thing is all first party Wii U games run at 1080p 60fps so how come Nintendo can pull it off and its a older machine.
To be honest if your hardcore gamers and have the money your just better off just building your PC.
