Am thinking trying Assassins Creed Unity on PS4, after finishing Rogue I don't usually play a Assassins Creed game so soon after finishing one.

Black Flag is a pretty good Assassin's Creed game & if your unfamiliar with it there is a lot of ship navigating but controlling the ships during battle takes a bit of getting used to & there are also deep-sea diving elements looting various sunken ship quests.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate was pretty good too set in London in 1860's during the Industrial Revolution, you can flip between main characters Jacob Frye & his twin sister Evie.Jacob is good at the fighting elements & Evie is good at stealth. The old cockney accents are a bit naff but there are various DLC contents that can be bought cheap as chips which includes Jack the Ripper missions.
I've played them in order so I finished Black Flag ages, Rogue I finished two weeks and not started Unity yet, Syndicate I have but I played a demo of it at Ubisoft.
So far done every single Assassins Creed game 100% Synch.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (PS4).

I Played the game through to completion on Hardened mode & tbh I found it pretty good.
Set in the future (like most COD games although WW2 is out next month) & primarily in Space the game has a Terminator like feel to it where you battle robots as well as humans. There's a fair bit of navigating fighter jets in dog-fights in space & the jets handle well & taking down enemy fighters can be satisfying.
Graphically the game is top-notch particularly with the facial animations & cut-scenes with a few celebrities in the game with Kit Harrington (GOT) as the main villian,Connor McGregor pops up as villian as well & British actor David Harewood as a team-mate.

Most importantly & key to any FPS is that the weapons handle well (I'm a Sniper person myself) from drones you can launch to cut through swaithes of enemies to Rocket Launchers & Sniper Rifles.I did find the AI to be a little dopey where enemies can tend to be rooted to one spot & fire at you rather than trying to flank you.A pretty good addition to the COD franchise.7/10.

I do wonder if COD will step into Halo territory in any future game battling against aliens.I'd certainly like the idea of COD taking on Aliens like the second film but without Ripley.
Assassins Creed Unity PS4

Ultra Street Fighter 2 Nintendo Switch.
New Super Mario Bros U

I never played this much when I 1st got it back in 2013, so I'm playing through it now & enjoying it... although some of the boss fights cause me to rage (Bowser Jr I'm looking at you)!!!!
Fifa 18 Demo PS4
FIFA 18 PS4 (Demo);

Played about 7/8 matches so far & although a demo my first impressions so far are good.I've always been politically neutral as regards to the Fifa/PES debate as I tend to buy both on release dates & gauge 3/4 months play on both before deciding to get rid of the inferior one.The past 2 year versions 16 & 17 has seen my preference favour PES but having played both PES 18 & Fifa 18 demos I feel Fifa has left me slightly more impressed with their changes compared to last year versions.
One of the biggest bug-bears of mine regarding Fifa has always been the shooting at goal which is one aspect PES betters Fifa (particularly when hitting edge of the box-25 yarders).Thankfully Fifa has addressed this & shooting seems far crisper & nearer to the PES style shooting.Lobbed passing & through feel far better this time.
The biggest difference I noticed was the tighter controlling of the ball allowing better dribbling & turning on a six-pence thus creating better openings. When you pass to a player I noticed that players use different body parts ie heel, chest etc to gain momentum when running with the ball.
I'm also pleased that Fifa 18 has continued on with The Journey (which was one of my favourite aspects of Fifa 17, but however what I would like to see on the full version is to stop the corruption in The Ultimate Team Mode (where it is virtually impossible to get any of the Top 10 World players like Messi,Ronaldo,Suarez etc) unless one is prepared to pay the ridiculously high prices for them.
Project Octopath Traveler Demo Nintendo Switch.
Dead by Daylight (Xone);Currently on freeplay with Xbox Gold.

I'm a sucker for a good horror film & have seen more slasher flicks than I've had hot dinners so the concept of taking part in one via a video game has always intrigued me.
A fair few years ago there was a gem of a game on the Playstation called Clock Tower where you played a survivor in a series of different scenes/levels where you had to survive an onslaught from deranged psycho's only armed with holy water. The only way you could kill each psycho is to entice them to a certain area on the level & despatch them in a series of QTE's.And yet to this day I'm suprised a survival/horror game of this type has never been repeated, until now.

Thus far I have resisted the urge to buy Dead by Daylight purely down to the facts that it is an online multiplayer game only with no training,no single player or no story mode & the very mixed reviews it has been given.
I did take the opportunity to download it on a free-play weekend via Xbox Gold as a mere try before I consider buying it approach.I've played about 8 hours of the game so far but I'm of a mixed opinion of it so far.The concept of the game is simple you either play as a choice of a survivor or a psycho/killer over a series of different maps.
Opting to play as a survivor you are joined by 3 other survivors & have to repair a series of generators to open the gate to escape. If you play as a psycho you can play as either a witch,a wraith,a chainsaw charlie type,a deranged doctor etc & each psycho has different weapons & characteristics. The game basically plays as a glorified game of hide'n'seek in certain aspects where as a psycho you have to stalk & kill 4 survivors ,maim & injure them then impale them on hooks until they die.
As a survivor hiding away from the psycho at a distance helps but helping team-mates to repair generators & rescuing them when they are caught by the killer helps as well as it makes escaping easier. The sense of dread & trepidation is off the charts as your constantly worried about being chased & hunted down & once a killer is chasing after you they are very difficult to shake off. There are a few iconic killers too with Mike Myers (Halloween) & Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) & what I did like was when I was being chased by Mike Myers the Halloween theme tune played in the background.

And now the negatives & what is quite noticeable is the graphics are rough, rougher than a badger's arse & frankly is poor in terms of current generation games. There are plenty of glitches too with the constant changing of the games frame rate & there were times where as a killer I was chasing a survivor in clear view when they vanish out of thin air.As there was no tutorial mode in the game you kind of have to jump in at the deep-end by playing it (& die a lot) to get used to the controls.
For all the roughness & glitches in the game it is very addictive & compulsive playing with that one extra go about it.In the game I found that I was a far better psycho than I was a survivor.6/10 so far.
