Alien Isolation PS4

The game on paper had loads of potential but game it’s terrible, first of all the direction they took with game was great, good graphics and sound and a decent story. With it being a survival/horror was a stroke of genius.
Where the game fell about for me was the alien AI it’s clearly scripted so it appears in certain rooms and parts of story so never feel your beating it with skill then it sneaks around like Scooby-Doo villain even your moving slowly and making any noise it still it still knows where you are you never feel like by playing slow amd quiet that it works to your advantage. Games like Hitman, Splinter Cell and Metal Gear reward you for playing slow and sheath.
The back tracking in the game is terrible a lot games back track but in this game your back tracking over the same area several and something convenient will open like go to room oh look back track to power the room because it’s locked then back track again then you can’t go that route so back track to find another to the area it’s like this the entire game it feels like the game was padded to make it harder and the game longer also the robots are annoying. There plot holes with the story towards the end especially with underwhelming ending how exactly does the alien get the escape ship at the end. It’s decent but very frustrating as the DLC it’s nice to play as Ripley and that they got most of the original actors from the first movie but the DLC is short and underwhelming so not missing much. Resident Evil 7 in my opinion is the much better option but if your fan of the Alien franchise you might like.

I thought alien isolation was a great game i was hoping for a sequel but i dont think thats happening now

A lot of reasons why there was no sequel was the problems I listed. Problem is games like Resident Evil 7 did a better job of it.

Really enjoying a mod version of WWF No Mercy on an N64 emulator that a mate sorted for me.No idea how he did it as all that tech stuff is beyond me but I'm currently choosing wrestlers from an early 80s AWA roster.Great fun.

Racing as Michael Dunlop on the Superbike round the Isle of Man TT course on PS4. Great adrenaline rush and a good distraction...having to concentrate on not crashing, which I always do at Kirk Michael for some reason, stops my mind wandering elsewhere

Devil May Cry Definitive Edition PS4
