If they didn't have a license they wouldn't be broadcasting would they? You'd be looking at a blank screen.
If you had read my post i did actually say Dutch license as the other two channels are still regulated by ofcom which is why they could be broadcasting bsxtra on 906 and 908,so even though there is a feed it certainly isnt bs1

I don't know what point you're trying to make, but if they didn't have a license for channel 906, whether Dutch or otherwise, the screen would be blank.
Just how many channels should I pick up on freeview? I get 3?
^ If you are talking about just the BS channels on freeview you should get four, three free to air channels (172, 173, 175) and the BSX encrypted channel (174)
BS/Cellcast also have 2 more channels in the Adult section EPG (176,177) but these broadcast for a hour or so in the early morning and just show adverts i believe, they did the last time i checked anyway .

Are you saying that the loss of the Dutch license would mean that the channel cant broadcast any of its channels, because if thats correct it does seem a bit crazy that the loss of dutch regulation would mean the Ofcom regulated channels could not broadcast either, and anyway my original question was merely an enquiry into where bs1 was tonight and i did not expect to recieve alot of unnecessary flack as the result of a simple question.
BS 1 is running on the web with Daisy & Madison now, but not on Freeview.
Also noticed that on BS Blue there is a very small print showing £2 connection charge on a landline. Sneaky sneaky.

No I'm saying if you can see something on the screen the channel you're watching has a license to broadcast.
at the moment on sky its preeti on 906 and 908 (bsxtra) and lori on 909 (bsblue). hope these technical problems are sorted for tomorrow night as tonight bs is all over the place because of the technical probs
