Had to think about that tbh laugh

Probably 'sly and devious but plausable with it' would cover it Smile

See how much typing you Sassenachs could save if you had a bigger vocabulary WinkTongue
Fair point!

'Sleekit' does describe Mr Salmond rather well.

That's no way to refer to the next President of the Republic of Scotland. Wink
The president of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, has said that any new independent country like Scotland would have to apply to join the EU.

Well, well, well Alex, so much for that legal advice you took that said otherwise. You lying sack of shite! Nationalists, wake up and finally realise you're being led up the garden path by a lying, inept, glory hungry fucking idiot of a man!
Did anyone receive the 'Vote Yes' card through the door? It pissed me off.
If the info isn't going to be complete, informative and correct, then it goes in the bin...I don't do bullshit propaganda...which that is annoyed

Haven't received it yet, but I'm hoping that it's very absorbent Wink
Think the independence argument is falling to bits SmileSmile
One of the main problems, among many, is that there are many people in Scotland who currently receive some form of state benefit. Under an 'independent' Scotland the finances would simply not be there to fund the same level of benefit payments. The solution would be either 1), a massive rise in council/local income tax (a direct tax on personal earnings) or 2), a massive cut in the benefits budget.

Current opinion polls put those in favour of an 'independent' Scotland in the region of 25% to 33%.
