Oh fuck, I forgot about them!!
SALMOND....Stop what you're doing...it's a trap!!!!!
Those of you who think that an independent Scotland would mean no OFCOM and a relocation of McBabestation to Glasgow should think again.
There is a decidedly puritanical streak running through the SNP and Mr Salmond in particular

Aaaaw come on!!
That's just nasty!
Surely 'indefatigable' George has some comedy value at the very least?

Your comment is irrelevant because that wasn't the point under discussion.
The point under discussion was whether an independent Scotland would have its own embassies or not. The answer is yes it would.
The figure you quote is also incorrect, as it is proposed that Scotland would have around 100 embassies. The 55 figure you quote was a reference to Ireland, not Scotland.

We'll keep George in England. He's MP for an English constituency after all. Plus since he's been denied the vote in Scotland he's become a self-declared "citizen of the world".

It is not irrelevant at all. It's called widening the discussion. It doesn't matter whether it's 55 or 100 Scottish citizens will not receive the same level of help and support abroad as they do now, without some sort of agreement with the Westminster government.
This is a typical Alex Salmond type reply. The moment someone tries to move a discussion forward into an area where he's on shaky ground, they just get slapped down. Well I'm sorry, that's exactly why it's so hard for anyone who's not been brainwashed to take him seriously.

You're right, the 55 Irish Embassies are irrelevant. Remind us all again, who brought them into the debate?
