Just when the Better Together campaign have a poll boost John Mccririck does an interview for The Scottish Sun. He is a gift to the Yes Campaign
I suppose Ofcom will not be able to have a say in an independent Scotland's tv productions.
So can we expect a new babechannel to pop up in Glasgow soon?
Or will the new regulator be worse, considering some of the Sunday trading laws etc that some parts of Scotland have.

The whole issue could be the deal breaker. Wink

The new regulator would maintain links with Ofcom, so would probably be similar in their approach.
This made me chuckle unfortunate cut off when doors open Wink

So what's everyone going to spend their £1000 or £1400 on?
Talk about win/win.
Both sides are promising a big windfall, whichever the outcome.
Instead of bribing the voters with promises of this or that amount (certainly won't be in pounds if it's a yes, break out the doubloons), they should focus on jobs, benefits and the cost of setting up everything from scratch (around 5 billion), if people are ignorant enough to buy into something without having any facts, then we are fucked and the yes lot will have achieved something very special indeed, destroying an old country for the sake of self interest, ignoring the bigger picture and consequences.
I'm unsure what they are going to do regarding pensions and an ageing population..

Are they planning to raise the pension age.. (I'm sure I heard that mentioned yesterday) or are they planning on flooding Scotland with half a million migrants to cover the shortfall in tax (Source The Telegraph).
But Alex is alright as he's reputed to have up to 5 pensions plans to fall back on

Britain has mentioned that if Scotland had a different Imigration policy, then border controls will be put in place.
UKIP won an European Parliamentary seat in Scotland at the recent Euro elections to the chagrin of Salmond. Big Grin

It is typical politicking!!
The usual invention of false statistics based on assumption and speculation Rolleyes.
The politicians are not succeeding in having a meaningful or constructive debate that might help the people of Scotland make an informed decision in my view.
The whole issue is getting clouded by a steady stream of speculative statistics, scare stories and twisting of the words of various studies.
Typical politician behaviour Rolleyes.
Am I surprised? No.
The Scottish population may as well not bother listening to all the crap and will probably have to make a decision based on either gut instinct or based on information and views from non politicians Rolleyes.
What will happen should Scotland vote in favour of independence. Scottish members will not be able to come in here anymore given it's the UK babes channels...or will the forum be renamed to allow for foreign nationals Wink
