Even without Scotland they would have been in power from 1997 to 2010.
Depends how far you want to go with that. No Scotland, no John Smith, so Prescott would have replaced Kinnock. Etc

It's weird to realise just how much would have been different if John Smith hadn't died. But that's an argument for a different thread, really Cool
I don`t subscribe to this "it`s too close to call" bollocks being touted by the press. All it is is the fact the Yes campaign shouts louder than the No and people are afraid of saying No publicly. The result will be a resounding No, somewhere around the 65-35% split, not the 52-48% as is being claimed.
Sadly, I think a No vote is the wrong result for England, so I urge all Scottish voters to go for the Yes vote.
Seriously, the bribes and money being thrown at Scotland to stay, makes my blood boil. I wish it was just one of the parties offering the bribes so at least I could get the opportunity to kick them at the ballot box next year, but no, it`s all three so what chance have I got to have a say on how my taxes are spent.
I have spoken to my accountant so that when a No result is declared, my books are being changed to keep my profits below the levels of paying tax. Seriously, this is how angry I am. MY taxes being spent for free prescriptions, dental care, eye tests, hosptial parking etc, etc when I have to PAY for all those things on top of paying tax. No way, no more

I think you'll find HMRC weren't born yesterday.

Make sure you have insurance to cover your accountants bill in the event of an HMRC investigation

I fear for my Scottish mates if they say yes. I fear for the rest of Britain if they say no.

Yeah John Smith was the best PM we never had
Mel Gibson - show yourself!
It might have been 19 years ago but look at all the mess you've made bladewave

And no - Rose didn't fuck Jack on the Titanic either - twat.
Did you know....

Pubs are allowed to stay open all night across Scotland tonight.
As the DM says "What could possibly go wrong?

Police source criticised the move, saying decision was 'absolute madness'
Brown and Darling, better together. These are the same incompetent politicians who nearly bankrupted Britain! Now english MP's are saying no way to new powers in the event of a no vote. Brown and Darling will get there enhanced pensions and a title, and Scotland, will get shafted.
Well that's me not long home after returning from casting my Yes vote at the polling station.

Firstly what this referendum will confirm irrespective of the result is that Scotland is split right down the middle. On one side we have nationalists such as me and on the other side we have the Union Jack waving unionists who are probably the type who'd not think twice to open up a bottle of wine whilst singing along to Land Of Hope And Glory whilst watching the Last Night At The Proms laugh

The only song you'll hear me sing is Flower Of Scotland, that's my anthem and one that gives me a sense of pride everytime I hear it.

Post Referendum result I also hope that both sides of the argument accept the result so that we can move on, however getting a Union Jack waved in the face if the result is No well I will not be held responsible for my actions if I'm provoked in such a manner Rolleyes

If the result is Yes then there is no reason why Scotland can't work together with the existing remainder of the United Kingdom. Co-operation is what is needed, not bickering or petty wars breaking out, the reason I use the word petty is because I'd be very surprised if an actual civil war were to break out.

Right I'm off to post some babe videos, afterall Isn't that what this forum is mainly for.
