And if an independent Scotland joined the EU it would HAVE to recognise all licenses to broadcast issued by any EU member state.

The good news is that should Scotland vote yes then David Cameron will be forcibily repatriated to the country of his ancestors. Rich toff or not, we can't have a foreign national at the head of our government.
I believe however that the tories have indicated that in the event of a yes vote they will release substantial funds to rebuild that big wall. Cuts to local council funding over the years have seen it fall into a state of shocking disrepair. laugh

Edit:Just so I don't spark a furious nationalistic rampage on here can I clearly point out that I am not being serious-it seems one or two never know when I am joking eek
I read that authoress J.K. Rowling has donated £1million to the 'Better Together' campaign. Good on her. Also, a punter has put £400,000 on the 'No' to independence result.
Better together how. Unemployment continues to rise as does the flood of unskilled immigrants coming into our country thus depriving the average British man of a job. The UK Government promotes cheap labour. That halfwit Blair started this and Cameron and Clegg are carrying on the torch.

I don't even know why this country is called Great anyway, it might have been great at one point but not anymore. I'm sick and tired of seeing either a Conservative or Labour Government pissing away all hope that we once used to have.

Oh and not to mention the cost of living in the UK when compared to other European Countries, in Germany for example the majority of the working population are Germans, not Bulgarians, Poles or Romanians. You can only get a job over there if you have a qualified trade to bring to their economy which is probably one of the reasons why they are doing so well.

Time to make a clean start, bring on Salmond and the SNP Party. England needs us, we don't need them which is why they are so desperate to hold onto us.
I think Scottish independence would bring a lot of gr8 things for the Scottish people, I also don't think it would really effect us English in any real way. However I do have issues with both campaigns. The NO campaign just seems to be so negative pointing out all that is bad about Scotland leaving. Whereas the YES campaign doesn't seem to want to answer some of the harder questions. Seems to be another bitter battle with both sets of politicains looking out for themselves rather than the FULL populations they r meant to represent.
Don't believe all you read in the press. It's not about England v Scotland. It's about Scotland no longer being part of a United Kingdom comprising Northern Ireland and Wales as well as England. I'm not sure anyone south of the border is desperate for Scotland to remain as part of the UK, more that most would prefer it as it makes the whole of the UK stronger on a global stage.
One upshot for the UK if Scotland does leave is that the backlog at the Passport office will be eased as anyone of Scottish nationality will have to apply to their own government for new non-uk passports.
One thing I don't think is right is people who weren't actually born in this country but instead moved up here instead being allowed a vote on Scottish Independence. For example I know a couple of Irish and English people but they only moved up to Scotland 10 years ago and guess what are proud to be part of the UK so I know exactly which way they'll be voting.

Surely a vote for Scottish Independence should only be alllowed to be voted for by the true Scottish population, not by those who just happened to move here. Most Scottish people I have spoken too however will be voting yes. It must be noted that if the final outcome is no then a big part of this will be because of the flaws which I've stated above.
If you're a resident of a country then you should get a say in what happens in government, it doesn't matter where you were born, you are still affected by the outcome. Saying otherwise is hardly a road you want to go down.
Will there be a SCOFCOM to replace OFCOM laugh.
As Cwpussylover is in line to replace OFCOM does he have a Scottish relative who can take over the Scottish version laugh.
