Quirky side-issue with Mark Williams having a bit of fun at Darren Morgan's expense, and Morgan not seeing the funny side.
Shocks yesterday as Ding, Selby and Trump all bought the farm, but Ronnie already won 4-0 this afternoon.
Ronnie made short work of Mike Dunn last night. I think I saw Dunn say he last beat Ronnie when he was 12 Tongue

Ronnie plays John Higgins next, with Barry Hawkins about the biggest other name still in it.
Higgins trashed Ronnie and will be the favourite against Gary Wilson.

Barry Hawkins will similarly be the favourite against Noppy Saengkham.
As expected, Higgins and Hawkins won fairly comfortably.
Higgins beat Hawkins 9-7 in a really excellent match played to a high standard of snooker. Credit to both men.
In so doing the Scot claimed his 30th ranking title of his career.
The match really tipped one way and then the other and then back. Higgins is the 8th different winner of a Home Nations effort in the 2 seasons it's been running.

I did catch some of the BBC2 Wales coverage but it didn't seem as credible as the EuroSport mob.
The English Open kicks off tomorrow for the Steve Davis Trophy.
