Judd Trump is out after a 4-2 defeat to home Welsh favourite Daniel Wells.
Wells goes on to face Shaun Murphy for a place in the quarter finals.
147 maximum alert.

Sorry Doddle.

It's Shaun Murphy.
He made a 145 in the previous frame.

Pretty much perfect snooker.
Quarter finals

Joe O'Connor v Pang Junxu
Shaun Murphy v Yuan SiJun
Mark Allen v Robert Milkins
Ronnie O'Sullivan v Tian Pengfei
At least one surprise semi-finalist again then. Go on, Big Bob!
Ronnie O'Sullivan is out after a 5-0 defeat to Tian Pengfei in Llandudno.
This means he has failed to qualify for the Players Championship in my neck of the woods that starts on Monday.

(whispers it quietly) Shaun Murphy is through after trouncing Yuan SiJun 5-0.

Tonight Robert Milkins has seen off Mark Allen 5-1 to reach the semi finals.
In so doing he has qualified for the Players Championship next week.
Meanwhile Pang Junxu held off Joe O'Connor in a deciding frame late night finish to claim a last four place.
Semi finals:

Robert Milkins v Tian Pengfei - 1pm

Shaun Murphy v Pang Junxu - 7pm
Robert Milkins is into the final after beating Tian Pengfei 6-2. He is in line to win the Bet Victor series £150,000 bonus should he win the title tomorrow.
Shaun Murphy battled past Pang Junxu in a drawn out and at times dramatic struggle to win 6-3 and set up a final with The Milkman.
A lot of frames went down to the colours and kept the crowd engrossed throughout.
Robert Milkins has done it.

In beating Shaun Murphy 9-7 tonight the Milkman has hit the snooker jackpot.

What a phenomenal time for him.

Well done.
I watched a lot of it, and was glad that he got it done. I was pleased Ronnie compared him to Tony Drago during his semi-final, a view I share. He's had such a clattering from commentators over the years, so it's good that he put it together.
